Interno 9 a San Pietro

We stayed at this guest house for 4 nights during the second week of Easter, as a mini break away in Rome, after getting married. We had prearranged our check in with the owner as our flight was landing slightly later than expected for usual check in times. The lady that was there to meet us was lovely! Very helpful, friendly and gave us some great recommendations on restaurants, local shops, bus routes etc. We had visited Rome before so had an idea of how to get around but it was useful to have the recommendations on nearby restaurants. We particularly enjoyed 'Goose' which is a short 5 minute walk and we visited there for dinner twice during our stay. We stayed in the larger room with the terrace area directly outside. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept very clean and tidy. It was lovely to have the terrace to sit and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine in the evening. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room and the pods were topped up daily which was nice for the morning. We visited the local shop and bought some croissants and other small snacks to keep in the room. They are not allowed to let guests use irons in the room so it is worth noting that when packing! Although the lady did recommend a shop down the road that you could pay to iron your shirts etc if needed. There is a hairdryer available in the bathroom. The bus stops almost directly outside the guest house making it easy to get around. There is also a news stand where you can buy your travel pass. It is only a short 10-15 minutes walk to Vatican City. The lady left us her mobile number to contact her if needed as there is only someone at the guest house for a few hours each day. She also helped us to order a taxi to the airport on our last day - this costs between €50-€60. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this guest house and return if we were to come back to Rome. Thank you for a welcoming stay!
