We had paid extra for dinner yet the kitchen wasn't open so we had to pay for our meal at the local village. Breakfast was sparse, it was just bread and grapes with coffee, there was no juice, water, pastries or cereal. There were building materials everywhere, the whole of the hotel with the exception of our room was shut up. The pool on the 10th September was green and clearly hadn't been used for sometime. No room service of any kind. The room was bare, curtains hanging off their rail, the air-conditioning didn't work. Doors to cupboards were I'll fitting and missing knobs. The bathroom was old with black grouting. The pillows were hard and there was an old green cover on the bed that looked as if it need to go to the laundry. Bathroom was clean but tiles chipped and grouting black around shower Staff watched us struggling to our room with our bags, noone was on duty during the night so there was noone to assist when we discovered that the air-conditioning didn't work.
