Magna Pars- L'Hotel à Parfum Small Luxury Hotels of the World

My husband and I spent 2 nights there and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and fits the modern, design forward vibe being located in the fashion district. We stayed in the Executive Suite, which was very spacious with a huge living area and the bed separated by a partition with a TV that can swivel. Pictures on the website felt accurate but was definitely impressive in person. In keeping with the modern vibe, there is a screen on the wall to control the lights, air, blinds, etc. There’s also a lot of different storage areas and a large dining table. It felt more like an apartment than an hotel room. As we were told, the hotel was built on a prior perfume factory, so each room was individually scented. A description of the scent was provided in the room. You could tell every detail in the room and hotel was meticulously designed and well thought through. Overall, this was easily one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at in a big city. Breakfast (included) started at 7:30A and was a wide assortment of breads, pastries, cold cuts, fruit, etc. Really good food and selection. For first time tourists to Milan, I wouldn’t say that this is a central location as it’s not walking distance to the major sightseeing sites and the main Milan train station is about 20-30 minutes drive away. However, the Porto Genova station is nearly as well as the Genova metro station and there are plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. It is also a short walk to the canal where there are a lot of trendy restaurants and bars. Staff pretty much defaulted to speaking English, so there was no problem communicating with anyone. They were all very friendly and helpful to arrange any requests, such as taxis or reservations. As I noted earlier, I really liked this hotel a lot because of the spacious rooms and thoughtful design. I will definitely stay there again.
