Great staff, rooms were good, as a solo female traveler I did not feel super safe walking around the hotel going towards the water in the evenings but other than that it was great.

First, I must thank Stephanie who was incredibly kind upon check-in after I lost my phone on the bus.  She was very compassionate and helpful letting me use the phone to call home to let them know.  Grazie mille, Stephanie!  I will never forget your kindness.This hotel is in a great location for exploring the city center.  If you have heavy or lots of luggage, it is 8-10 euros from Genoa Centrale Principe.  Wish I had known - I'd still have a phone.  Given I had no phone and thus no directions, I was given a map and instructions which were very easy to follow.  It is minutes from many of the must see places in Genoa.  Genoa itself is probably one of my favorite cities in Italy.  It has it's gritty side but in general, incredibly beautiful, accessible and walkable.  Hotel Doria is a perfect place to set off on your adventure.  Upstairs to the right great coffee bar too!

Excellent location, in a quiet spot yet right by lots of shops, restaurants and the charming older part of the city. It had a clean and nice room and bathroom, and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Perfect for an oval week end stay in Genova.

Perfect location, nice hotel

Had a brief but wonderful experience at this hotel. It was a great value for the price, and the front desk was incredibly helpful for an American foreigner like me. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time we were there.

Comfortable and accommodating

We stopped over in Genoa in between Nice, South of France and Cinque Terra Italy. 
Genoa was beautiful and hotel Doria was in such a great location! Room was small but perfect for what we needed. 

Note the room we stayed in: the bathroom is divided by glass- therefore if you are travelling with someone else it’s important to know that there isn’t much privacy. I am not sure if this is for all rooms, but in ours it was only glass dividers in the room. 

Couldn’t fault our stay! We loved spending time in Genoa! 

Genoa is a hidden gem 💛

Very nice hotel in an excellent location.

I really enjoyed everything about this place. Was pleasantly surprised to realize that it's in fact located in a very central, safe area, minutes away from both major train stations and of course walking distance from most landmarks. The staff was super friendly. The room had a nice, modern design that's suitable both for solo travelers as well as couples. The bed was comfortable so had no trouble sleeping. I also liked the use of codes so you wouldn't have to worry about losing your card or anything like that.Would certainly recommend and it would be my first choice should I ever come back to Genoa.

Great location

A great hotel in the centre of Genoa. Reasonably priced and great value for a 3* The hotel is clean and has everything you need. 
It is clean and the excellent service provided by Valentina, who went out of her way to resolve problems, was the icing on the cake.
Highly recommended and I will neck.
