Stayed at Trieste Bed & Breakfast from 3rd-5th Sept.
Mary the owner was an absolute star, she made us very welcome on our arrival.

We had booked a tour on the friday to to Cliffs of Moher and Mary rang the company to collect us from the B&B.

The rooms are spotless, warm and comfortable, with great supply of tea and coffee.

Breakfast is included in the price and the choice is huge, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, home made soda bread, rolls and a huge Irish breakfast.

Mary is a lovely, warm, kind hearted lady and I would recommend a vist.

We stayed in this b&b from the 17th  to the 21st of July. The place is really nice and quite clean. It's 5 minutes walk from Salthill centre and about 30 minutes from Galway centre,  but there is the bus stop really near the house. The owner, Mary, is really wonderful and she makes you feel at home. The breakfast is excellent.

We had an excellent experience from the time we booked until we left Trieste we were very well looked after.  Initially Mary contacted us by e-mail to say that she would be away but that her daughter would be looking after us.  We got a great welcome on arrival and were given great advice regarding transport etc.  Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable with a nice firm matress.  The location was perfect giving us the best of both worlds - convenient to public transport and very handy for the city, we had the added bonus of being a short walk from the village in Salthill with a choice of bars and restaurants and ideally situated to avail of the sea-side promenade at Salthill.  The breakfast was excellent - the food was very tasty and plentiful.  All in all this is a B & B that has got its act together - well done Trieste.  Others have commented on the size of the en-suite - it was small but spotlessly clean and very adequate for our needs.

Very nice

Comfort and Convenience in Salthill

I would have giving a higher rating but the ensuite was very small in the family room.(tight squeeze) we where well looked after by Mary who made you feel very welcome. couples staying here would enjoy it not really for a family with wee ones.

Its like staying at your nannies.

The room and  ensuite bathroom were small but clean but  overall looked a bit dated.
