Great affordable place to stay in Galway. Clean and comfy. Very busy place and was a bit noisy for sleeping.

Friendly/ helpful staff; good access to public transportation.

The Corib Villiage was perfect as i was attending a conference at the University. It was a bit out of town, but easily accessible by bus and taxi. The main downside for me was that there was nowhere within walking distance to get dinner. Also, the shop on site was really expensive - 1.5 euros for 2 bananas.But staff were really friendly and the room was clean.

My husband booked through the "Wild Atlantic Way" website. Pictures don't look like what we got. We have the impression to be in prison (each room is locked). Old electrical heaters/a smell of humidity filled up the apartment: when you travel with children it is not appropriate. The cleanliness was inexistent. Something was spilt on the floor of the kitchen/living room and never cleaned. The floors in the whole apartment have not been clean in weeks (maybe months). We had all kind of marks, stains on the kitchen windows/entrance door. General state of the appartment/entrance of the building is old and not kept in good conditions. Pictures on the webiste show beautifull new buildings:is not the case anymore.
Bin bags/dirty bags of bedlinen/towels were outside the building/entrance lying around for several hours before being picked up. 
We were told that we could not have more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people. Housekeeping staff was supposed to come every 2 days: we did not see anybody. 
We requested 2 more cups/spoons twice before we got them.  We also required that the appartment would be cleaned (floors very dirty) but nothing has been done. So, we shortened our stay. When I told them that we were going to put the pictures on the website (I did not manage to find the way to put this comment on the "Wild Atlantic way" website) they immediately reimbursed us 3 nights. The manager should contact us to discuss further on the matter. We got the manager's email address.

Thank you To Meera, she is a wonderful waitress doing all she can to help you and has à little word for everyone .
The breakfast is excellent.
Thé room is confortable with a good bed and private bathroom .
Thé place is very quiet.

The cafeteria

The stay itself would have been ok, even though the price was kind of high in comparison for what we got, but every evening there were drunk teenagers partying and making a lot of noice through the night. Nobody of the staff really seemed to care about this. This really disturbed the rest and sleep needed when exploring the region. Might be the cheapest in town, but I recommend spending a bit more to have a comfortable stay.

Friendly greeting on arrival.  Problem with Wi-Fi solved promptly.  Very convenient for shop / cafe and shuttle bus.  No tv in room (which I knew, but under-estimate my wish for it once there).  Sound-proofing limited, noticeable at chucking-out time at the International Arts Festival.

A reasonable budget option.

I came across The Irish Sea with siblings on a pilgrimage to our mum’s place of birth, Ballaghduff, just outside Kilkerrin. We booked a four night stay at The Corrib Village Appartments not sure what to expect but hopeful of a pleasant, if quite basic accommodation.
I have to say that we were more than pleasantly surprised. The rooms were lovely and clean. There was a nice shower and the beds were very comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was more than sufficient and the staff there, especially Meera, as helpful as could be. Seeing to our every need with a smile on her face.
They provide excellent value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Galway during the summer recess
