We were the very first people to stay in this perfect cottage 20 years ago this year!  What can I say?  It is idyllic in every way.  I remember asking the owners to buy some presents for my new wife and hide them around the cottage for our arrival - nothing was too much trouble.  Just thinking it's about time we made a return trip.

Where do I start?! We LOVE this place! traveled with 2 adults, a 17 year old boy, an 11 year old and an almost 8 year old girl and they adored this place! It was so cottagy but not too small just cozy. LOVED the fireplace. Super clean and organized. The owners were so kind! Our youngest got sick from the trek from Florida and threw up on the bed. We cleaned it and they came over and wished her better! They were so kind! Murphey the dog came to visit and was so friendly! 

I adored this place so much and HIGHLY recommend it. So rual but not too far from grocery stuff. Owners were amazing!

We stayed here for the New Year for 3 nights, this cottage is set in a quiet , peaceful surroundings with great views of the mountains from the kitchen window . We unfortunately didn't get to do much sightseeing in the surrounding area due to extreme bad weather  & the roads were pretty flooded after the storm so we would like to make a return trip in the summer ! The owners of the cottage Stella & Eamoon are both lovely genuine people & the kids appreciated the great WiFi & sky Tv especially as the weather was not great !  

What can I say other than absolutely stunning. I stayed with my family in August and it really was the most enjoyable experience. Faultless with the house giving use everything we needed and more.  Eamon cooked for us on the last night which finished our holiday beautifully.  We will defiantly be booking again - highly recommend!!
      

We (a couple in our 70s, two adult children) stayed at Cooper's Cottage for a week in April, and loved it.  The cottage is well-appointed and cosy, the rooms comfortable and quiet, the kitchen well furnished with cookware, utensils and dishes, and our "self-catering" went smoothly. The nearby fields visible from the kitchen table provided breakfast entertainment with a couple of foxes darting about among the cattle. Stella and Eamon were hospitable and gracious, and enjoyable to visit with.  

We were a little surprised to find, however, that the wireless Internet connection was not available at the cottage itself; we had to go across the road to the main house to connect.  At that, our access was somewhat limited by the by the fact that the main house was also rented  by another family for part of the time we were there. Because all four of us had business to attend to via Internet even though we were vacationing (just a fact of modern life, I guess) there were times when not having the connection was quite inconvenient.   We were able to work around it, of course, but we were surprised that the arrangement had not been mentioned in the description of the lodging. 

All in all, we would certainly stay there again, possibly getting some kind of satellite wi-fi connection to use in the evening when it wasn't appropriate to barge in on the other house, and when we had to visit with people in the States in different time zones.  

The laundry facility was also across the road in the utility shed next to the main house--not really a problem, but a bit unexpected. 

Again, Stella and Eamonn were gracious and  welcoming, and had good suggestions for hikes, local entertainment, nearby festivals (Kilfenora was wonderful) etc. Bansha is, as others have mentioned, a good base for touring.  Tipperary, Cliffs of Moher, and various hiking and biking trails, are short, enjoyable drives from Bansha. 

Highly recommended.
