Really nice b&b with a very friendly and helpful host. Just five minutes from clifden and even closer to the sky loop road. Room was a good size for me with everything I would need and really nice shower. Lots of choice for breakfast. If in the area highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Atlantic View. The place was spotlessly clean and our room was very nice. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The location is a 5 minute drive from the centre of Clifden which was perfect for us. There was plenty of breakfast choices - I went for the full fry which was excellent!

Booked with Margaret last minute over the phone due to bad weather! From the start she was very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we were very impressed with our rooms. They were all very nicely done up and very comfortable and clean. The shower was lovely with good water pressure and there was a great hair dryer! We received a lovely and filling breakfast the next morning! All of the staff were very helpful. One of the groups cars had been left in clifden town and would not start the next morning and they came to the town with us to help us jumpy start it without hesitation! Thank you for your hospitality!

My wife, myself and our golden retriever buddy stayed with Margaret for 6 nights and couldn’t have been made more welcome.

Accommodation was great, breakfast was excellent and plentiful and Margaret and her daughter Susan were excellent hosts, very informative, helpful and attentive, but not overly so.

We would fully recommend staying here if you are visiting Clifden.

Definitely visit Omey island (drive across at low tide), and get the boat to Inishbofin for a day trip, both provide all the sights you would expect on the Wild Atlantic Way.



We had to book this b&b last minute because of bad weather and the host Margaret could not have been more accommodating! Beautiful rooms, gorgeous breakfast included and the most friendly and helpful staff. Couldn’t recommend Atlantic View more! 

The family room is great the place for tv,super clean with confortable mattresses, very well located, breakfast is good and generous, Margaret and her daughter will make everything to make your stay pleasant...the place to be in Clifden.

Margaret and Susan run a nice show. The location is perfect with lots to see and do in the area. Room was large and breakfast made to order. Excellent baked goods and great coffee. Margaret gave us two good dinner recommendations. Thanks Margaret!  We will  be back.

Margret and Susan are just so very nice. I left some of my clothes there and Susan came all the way down to a Catholic Church near by to tell us we let some clothes there. They are just wonderful people!! The Atlantic View is a beautiful home. Breakfast was awesome and our room was very nice. If you are in Clifden, you need to stay with Margret and Susan at the Atlantic View, they are just so very nice and make you feel at home. Hope to see them next year.
