Athgarvan B&B

This is a fantastic little place in a rural area, Hosts were very friendly especially Helen, they couldn't do enough for us and treated us to a cooked breakfast every morning, stayed 3 nights, nothing was too much trouble, bedroom was very comfortable and spotless, very quiet for a good night's sleep, we did share a large bathroom with another room but was not an issue at all. As we had no car, had to get Taxis Into Newbridge and Kilcullen which were around 15 euro, the bus service was suspended while we were there, but heard it was restarting the day we left, however there is a fantastic pub 2 mins walk away, very busy for food on a Sunday, 17 euro for a quality dinner, and a well stocked shop over the road. Would highly recommend this gem of a b and b.
