When visited banyuwangi, i was hoping stay at another hotel. Since there were some events, hotels occupancy was high. I don't remember the room type but that Was the highest rate. One building consist of a living room, bed room and bath room . Sadly, the shower and hot water didn't work at all. It close to a mosque, as i am a muslim, i didn't really matter with the adzan (prayers calling) from mosque. 

Alternative hotel when visited Banyuwangi

Hotel with different type of rooms and different standard . Our first room was so so . But tha they changed for us for renewed room and was ok. Room was big and comfortable , ac, bathroom and TV also fridge in room and staff to make tea/coffee. Outside place to sit at the table. Nice patio and nice ambiente . For local people mainly. We have been only foreign tourist. Good location to penetrate all area round Banyuwangi . Helpful staff .But close to Mosque. So important where rooms are located.

Nice place to stay in the city Banyuwangi

Stayed at this hotel since I could not extend at the hotel that I was previously staying. There was not much choice.
Its located in a higher altitude than the center of the city hence it's quite cooler. A bit far from the main city center, I think its more suitable if you just want to relax.
The hotel area is spacious with numerous rooms, the rooms looks more like a single room villa. The room that I stayed is actually nice, not very clean as there were some debris. I am not sure whether they have cleaned it before I checked in. Bathroom was clean, I think the bathroom was renovated recently. Bed was OK, AC working well. No wifi and limited TV channel. No hot water
I did not take breakfast as my flight was very early. 
For soft sleepers, you might want to avoid this place as it is bit noisy sometime.
