This homestay is lovely, far enough from the strip to not be too noisy but close to everything else. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the sunset side of the island.
The hotel did advertise hot water but my room had cold water and I had to pay to get a room with warm water but it was barely warm, if I had known I would have just stuck to the cold water room.

The gentlemen that work there are amazing, so friendly and welcoming and everything is always a pleasure. Breakfast was delicious and I really wanna know what is in the orange juice because it is addictive. Follow google maps, it is very accurate to get there, if you have alot of luggage it might be difficult to get there because the roads are very bumpy and its about 15 minutes walk to the hotel from the pier. Its about a 3 minute walk to the main strip with restaurants and bars.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe there.

It is not in front of the beach, you cannot see the beach from here

Nice place

We really loved this little spot! Clean & kind, with a lovely little garden! Daily breakfast was tasty too - banana pancakes and the scrambled eggs, coffee, juice! The owner and manager went out of their to make us feel welcome, and cared for! Wifi was spot on! Location wise, the directions they provided us were clear and concise - it's about a 12 minute walk from the port. It's a wee bit off the beaten path, so it's quite, while not being so far as to be out of the loop! Just a quick walk down two streets and you're on the main street with all the vendors and restaurants! We stayed in two different rooms while here, the first night with aircon, but no hot water, and the remaining nights with aircon and hot water.  The hot water was a bit fussy, but there is a sweetspot, just have to find it. We did not experience any bug issues. Rooms must have been repainted, both of ours looked clean and fresh. Sheets where crisp white. They offered to come change our beds/clean daily, however we preferred not - just personal preference. Towels get musty smelling because of the climate - but we just asked for clean ones - no problem at all! We would highly recommend Padanta for your stay on Gili T.

Updated! It's a really nice place!

When you arrive on the island, it will take about 10-15mins of walking to get there. This place is located in the quieter, inner part of the island. I had booked one of the airconditioned rooms for a cheaper price than usual. I had heard before that the rooms without an aircon, were difficult to stay due to the hot and humid weather. The reception was relaxed and friendly. The room was clean and had enough space for me. Everything worked, except when the electricity would fail, because of the blackouts all over the island. I stayed a week, so i had tried all the breakfasts. Which were served quickly, but it took nothing of the taste of the food. It was delicious(the omelette and banana pancake were my favourites). They had two bicycles available for cheap renting, but these were pretty old. After a long day of cycling and checking the place out, this was a peaceful place to retreat to. I had a overall good stay.

Good stay

My boyfriend and I booked a room for SIX days over New Years here (because the price was 130,000IDR on Booking) and ended up reluctantly staying for ONE. 

When we arrived on Gili T, the staff demanded that it was 600,000/night "because of New Years." We argued for half an hour before leaving (we also heard them trying to do the same with others staying there). In talking to some locals for places to stay, we told them what happened and they said, "Oh, Padanta," shaking their heads. This place obviously has a reputation for ripping people off. Since everywhere else was booked and there were no more boats to Gili Air/Meno, we were forced to go back. Argued them down to 250,000 for 1 night and left immediately the next morning.

So disgusted with what a cash grab this place is! The room isn't even nice. Moldy, smelly bathroom. And no mosquito net (they DO sneak in, so I was scratching the entire night).

Please do yourself (and other travelers) a favor and DO NOT GO TO PADANTA.

SCAMMERS! Biggest mistake in 5 months of travel!

Myself and my partner stayed in room 3, when we opened the door the first this i noticed that the room desperately needed the cracks in the walls filled with putty and a good lick of paint. Saying this the bathroom was huge and the bed was perfect, no bed bugs like older reviews have stated so we slept like babies every night. Linen and towels were clean and fresh. Breakfast is at 8am which includes omelette, scrammy eggs, pancake, fruit, toast, lombok coffee, tea, orange juice... so a pretty good selection, you go to reception to order this and they bring it to your porch for you to eat. We had many power cuts during our stay, most were over in a few minutes, i did kind of freak out as i was in the shower and it suddenly went pitch black. Our last night we were taking a nap and the power cut for a few hours so we had no air con for a little while but we managed to handle it... But apparently this happens all over the island unless you are staying at a place that has there own generator. We rented bikes 2x for two days which cost us 160,000, not sure if you can get cheaper elsewhere but it was convenient for us. The staff were happy whenever we walked past and I'm sure would help you if you needed anything. I would recommended staying here if it fits your budget.
