New, nice and a good to stay. A walk up hotel.
Short distance (7-10 minutes drive) from hotel to attraction locations such as Masjid Raya Baiturrahman, Museum Tsunami Aceh etc. Clean rooms, spacious and nice lobby, breakfast included. Breakfast served at coffee shop next to the hotel, outside, open spaces. Breakfast just quite okay, simple menu like Fried Mee, or rice with few side dishes, toast bread & jem.
Good and helpful staffs.
Rooms are clean, towels changed everyday.
Parking spaces.
Few eating stalls, fruit stalls along the road. Hotel coffee shop also a restaurant, open afternoon. But, not later than 2100 hours, your order would be out of order and the service is slow. Too many young people 'lepak' with laptops, smoking.
Musolla available besides hotel.

Budget, new, and comfortable

New walk up hotel, 15mis to city centre. Nice and good size lobby , Clean rooms, breakfast served in next building which is hotel coffee shop . Breakfast not appetising at all, untidy.  This hotel is in residential area , a few eating stalls along the road. Not recommended for elderly or people who can't climb stairs.

Budget n Brand New

The room is small and they still use squat toilet, that wouldn't be a problem for some people, but you aren't used to it I suggest you to look for another hotel.
Don't expect too much. I hope the staff can welcome the customer with smile..

And no lift..

But if you, by perforce, have to stay here, please enjoy Mi Aceh right beside the hotel.

Hotel?

The room was clean, the beds comfortble with good matresses. Toilet / shower without hot water. Wifi did only work well in the lobby. There were hotspots on every floor but at least on our floor, it regularly lost connection. English level of the staff was so-so, but they were really helpful.

The hotel's outlook at first was very cosy. 4 levels. looks new. adjoining to an eatery just next door. we went in, checked in and realised that there are no lifts. i went in a big group. we had a mess up on room allocation. i was placed in level 2; supposedly the deluxe room with 2 single beds, a proper shower, a wash basin, a toilet bowl. Well, things looks comfy enough. and then we had to switch rooms due to the wrong allocation. that's when i realise that its a lot more tedious for someone to lug a 20kg baggage up to the fourth floor up the stairs only to find the standard room is not any smaller but the toilet has a squat toilet, a mirror, a shower but no wash basin.  

Like seriously, what could be rationale of this? i know i'm paying less for it but to deprive me of a wash basin and replaced with a bucket is really odd. it was room 402 we entered. the aircond was not cold for the next 2 hours it was on. mind you, there's no phone line to call house keeping. you need to walk all the way down to get help. the ac filter was completely clogged. that explains it. the staff cleaned it and it was better. but it was after all the top floor, no matter how hard the ac was on, it was still a very warm room. escaped to the cool lobby.

Went out for dinner. the hotel was closed enough to the nearby eateries. about 5 to 10 minutes walk. i came back to an empty room smelling like dung. im not kidding. the room literally reeks of poop without anyone in the toilet taking a dump. went to the friend's room next door to check if they had the same situation. nope. theirs was fine. demanded for a change of room. it wasnt pleasant. this is room 403. they gave us room 402 in exchange. a probable explanation from someone in the group with reno experience said the piping may not have a pipe trap that avoids the influx of smell from the main pipes. which is why the foul stench reverted back into the room from the drain hole. 

if its not too much to upgrade yourself, get anything from the ground or first floor. or try Arabia hotel which is nearer to the main streets.
