Pondok Lembah Dukuh Homestay

We stayed here 1 night because we wanted to visit Tirtagangga, Lempuyang and Besakih. So to save time and cost, we chose a place near Tirta Gannga and the homestay appeared in the list. There is a staircase from the homestay to bring you to the rice fields beside the temple. It takes you around 7-10 minutes to walk. However, you only can walk there before it is dark as no lights available. And you might need to consider twice if your partner is above medium age or not doing excercise or hiking often. There is another way to go there by walking to the main road, but it is very dangerous unless you drive. We reached the homestay quite late, around 7pm. It was already dark and we need to go for dinner. Unfortunately, it is very dangerous to walk to areas for restaurants (right opposite Tirta gangga temple). Even though it is only 2 minutes driving, it is not safe for walk because it is very dark and it is kinda highway with small road (FYI, this is the second way to go to Tirta Gangga temple that I mentioned above). Hence, the owner's son fetched us, it costs IDR30,000 for return. So, in case you need a driver to go anywhere, you can contact the owner because the son is taxi driver. He fetched us from the harbour back to homestay though. However in my opinion, he has a bit limited English. The owner has good English. They are very hospitality and friendly. Apparently, she brought us to Tirta Gangga in the next early morning because it was very hard for us to imagine how to go there by staircase. She made breakfast (toast and tea/coffee) for us as well. It is highly recommend to stay here if you wanna visit Tirta Gangga. Wish Pondok Lembuk Homestay prosperity.
