Nice hotel

Went on a family weekend outing. Picked this hotel as most were booked due to long weekend. This location of the hotel is good not too far from city centre. However rooms are average. TV in both rooms did not work for the 2 days we were there. ACs worked intermittently. Only positive was that staff was courteous and helpful and hence 3 stars rather than 2. No restaurant and breakfast was limited to 2-3 options.

Shouldn't pay more than 1500 to 1800 for this.

Average Hotel

Had seen this place over the net and did a booking for 1day but it was a horrible experience the services is bad the propertyos not maintain well the rooms very dirty no proper amenties in it we could not leave as i had all ready paid worst dam trip 

Outing

The rooms are big enough but old wash rooms uncleaned. The staff doesn't bother about you at all. No one attend your call at reception or in restaurant. You need to roam around searching their staff. The chef works on his duty time after that you can't even order a coffee.  This hotel was good few years before when I visited, now it is waste. Better search for some other good hotel.

Worst service

When we were planning a family vacation to Alibag, I came across Hotel Sahyadri's high ratings and appreciations around service, food etc. Sadly, our "on the ground" experience with Hotel Sahyadri was TERRIBLE! 

Detailed feedback is as follows:

A) Location : This hotel is about few kilometers outskirts of Alibag city center. If you are not planning to keep a vehicle with you, getting autos etc would be very inconvenient. To the credit of hotel staff, with about 45 minute's notice, staff helps you with getting auto rickshaws at the hotel entrance. The location is an average one.
B) Room Service : Most Pathetic and practically no one was there to take care of service needs despite 5 to 7 reminders. 
C) Food : Breakfast with lots of follow up was available at 930am. Breakfast menu was also very limited. No proper arrangements for lunch or dinner as well.
D) Rooms : The only silver lining during our stay was that rooms are quite spacious and airy. 

I would like to mention Mr. Baban, Mr. Datta Patil and Mr. Swapnil for their support wherever they could as a saving grace for this hotel.

Clearly, thumbs down for Hotel Sahyadri...
