Its Venus Residency again, thank you Abhishek  - great Support Man.

I recommend Venus residency. Its an economical, clean, neat, wonderful for families, groups and individuals who like Cosy, clean and neat accommodation.

Its Venus again!!

Rooms were very clean,extra space and balcony. Kingsize cot.1 room had an additional a single cot.Some inconvenience wit hot water,which was a slight drawback to our stay but the staff was responsive.

Clean and Comfortable Spacious room.. Small bathroom balcony include inbetween 2 rooms there had extra space also.

The only good thing was the location.  It was relatively close to town.  The sheets were ripped, pillows were hard . No fans so when it was warm in the room it was not pleasant. The deluxe  (not sure what was delux) was so noisy it kept me up.

So not worth the price.. too high for what you received.

Please don't book this hotel. They have rejected and didn't provided room even after confirmed booking from goibibo. Didn't talk properly and very rude on way of speech. My suggestion.. don't book this hotel if u want a good trip to ooty.

Worsed experience

Had booked through Yatra.com for 2 nights Oct 31 to Nov 1, 2016 based on great discount and cool pics of the rooms. However, the room allotted was shabby and bathroom not up to the mark. The property had no reception and no frontal entrance. There were two care takers who would mostly loiter outside the property. No heating arrangements were provisioned, no change of bed sheets nor cleaning of rooms was done. I had no option but to stay put as I had paid in advance and it was mentioned non-refundable. Later I found out there were two rooms which were better placed while the rest were all hopeless. My advise to all, do not book hotel by just seeing the room pics as booking is done for the "hotel/residency" as a whole and not the room whose pics one sees. The hotel staff allots rooms at their discretion and then one feels cheated. Secondly the websites should not offer great discounts at the cost of amenities as one goes on pleasure trips once in a while and feels betrayed...

Poor facilities at Venus Residency

Never ever do bookings for Hotel Venus Residency. Had made bookings through Agoda.com from 05th May to 08th May for eight people. When we reached Ooty on the 05th Mr. Abhishek (09159536123) sent his personel to guide us to the Hotel. Instead he took us to his other property Venus Cottage. I spoke to Mr. Abhishek & he said it was a mistake from Agoda.com as he cannot afford the rooms in Venus Residency in the price given. I said you should have cancelled before itself as the booking was made 10 days in advance. We spoke to Agoda.com & were suitably compensated by their customer care executive. We found another beautiful 2 bedroom bunglow for our stay. This man Abhishek is a cheat as he was later offering us free breakfast if we would stay in Venus Cottage. Neverever trust this owner Abhishek as he had left the whole family in lurch and spoilt our plans this Summer Vacation.
