Silver Moon Haveli

My fiancée and I left the engagement ring at home as we didn’t want to lose it while travelling. We bought a nice teardrop garnet stone silver ring in Jaipur as an inexpensive surrogate for travelling. Between our guest house (just next door to Silver Moon jewellery shop) and the centre of town, we realise the stone has fallen out of the ring. We tried looking for it to no avail... Then, on our way home, we randomly decide to take a look inside Silver Moon to see if we can find a replacement garnet ring. We spend a long time looking at rings but could not find anything quite right, so my fiancée brought out the “empty” ring as asked whether the gentleman had any stones which may fit the teardrop shape. He proceeds to produce a bag of gem stones, and we fish around to find something suitable. He then suddenly locates a teardrop shaped garnet stone, takes the ring, presses the stone into the ring and in an unbelievable Cinderella-like moment - it fits! For 350Rs he takes the ring away for an hour and secures the gemstone to the ring so it will not come out. It was also only later that we realise a garnet stone can represent “commitment” and is the birthstone of my fiancée. Ps, we checked the stone to see if the same inclusion was present, but we could not see it. I genuinely believe this was a brilliant coincidence - thank you!
