An Oasis of Tranquility and pure Bliss perched high on Darbhanga Ghat / Munshi Ghat capturing the Charm of Benaras. Honorably Performed Pitru Paksha Puja To My Ancestors right there on the banks of the Holy Ganges. The Majestic Evening Aarti was made spectacular by the front row experience on the private hotel boat. Morning Yoga Sessions on the Terrace With the Rising Sun were spectacular. Being an early riser, Subah-E-Banaras Morning Ganga Aarti felt so spiritual. Artistic Cultural dance performances at the hotel by local artists were a visual treat. Seamless Airport Transfers on the palace boat were amazing just like those at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice. The Magnum Opus of our stay was the Seven Course Dinner executed to perfection on the palace terrace decorated with Marigolds, Diyas and shimmering lights with local Maestro’s (who performed when POTUS Clintons were there) playing Sitar and the Tabla with The Moon and the stars above and right on the Ganges was a surreal experience. At that moment, I felt like I was being blessed by my Honorable Ancestors from the Heavens. Midnight walks on the mesmerizing ghats on the Ganges simply by taking the elevator down was the cherry on the top.
