The Viceroy Hotel

The hotel is located  in walkable distance of Mysore palace.Rooms are good and spacious.very clean and neat.Buffet breakfast served was very good.Room service is good.But only hitch was hot water  is available  in the morning hours only.Good restaurants are located near the hotel.

We booked the hotel on line, Direct booking was not available. Booked for three persons for 2 days. Charges was very high.. First day they did not provide extra bed for which we paid. Second day it was provided. On arrival Towels were also not supplied. May be the booking site charged more. Fittings in toilet are old and discolored.Hotel staff was not helpfull to attend to complaints

Hotel that need renovation

I stayed for 2 nights at this Hotel. We  were offered the  regular AC room despite booking a premium room. The front desk staff continued to lie with a straight face that the room offered was a "premium" room, after showing the booking  confirmation with the pictures on the aggregator website they decided to shift us to the bigger room. The rooms and the hotel in general is in a pathetic state.  The room had  a foul  smell because of lack of fresh air . AC was  blaringly noisy. Hot water was not available and the hotel staff had to be called to bring hot water. The breakfast offered was mediocre and so is the restaurant . They do not have a dedicated area for car parking ! Guests will have to be content to park it on road. The only advantage of this hotel is the location, Right opposite to the north gate of the palace. Don't bother visiting this shady place.

Horrible place 

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days.Hotel tariff to high compared to condition of Rooms were unclean. Bed Linen dirty.No Adequate lights in Room.AC was noisy. Shower not working.Hotel staff did not pay attention to any requirements inspite of requesting so many times.Will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Worst Hotel Stay .

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.
Rooms were not clean ,too much dust.Linen was not clean. No adequate lighting.AC was noisy. Bathroom shower was not working properly.Bathroom doors not closing properly. Any complaint regarding rooms was not entertained inspite of several reminders.Not worth the money spent on staying in this hotel.
