The bungalow would beat any place of past splendour hands down, considering, it is right inside the core of one of the most protected wild life sanctuaries where humans can not mess with wildlife .Taking special care to preserve nature for generations, the family owning the property, is zealously guarding the jungle to conserve wild life. So expect only the essential basic comforts of today's world here! You may have visited the most exotic places on earth- I have not, but I am sure you will love this place if you really want to experience the tasteful life style of your ancestors had they been nature lovers owning a beautiful place inside the wildest Periyar Forest- the pride and crown jewel of God's own country. The staff here don't belong to today's tourism world of feigned hospitality and trained courtesy.They are sincere simple caring folks who don't treat us as just guests! We feel we arrived to make life happy and meaningful for them! Brave-heart Kuttan, Mary, Mariadas, The Bhograjs, Manu(Rithu DMC),take care of you and the lovely jungle and the exotic wild life around you!
