A nice hotel with neat and spacious rooms, at the heart of the city. Had a good spread of items in the Breakfast list. The staff headed by Mr. Tarun was very helpful and supportive throughout my stay. Would surely look to stay again in the near future.

I had a pleasant stay in daan orchid residency.clean room's staffs are very polite and friendly.it was comfortable and quit environment.I will recommend this residency to all my friends and the price is very reasonable comparing to other property.

Excellent performance of the staff

I had a lovely stay here. We were a group of family members chose to stay here for one night. All the staffs were very cooperative and made us comfortable. Would like to mention Chef Prajith for his personalized service, a wonderful person came to meet us and prepared delicious food. Thank you dear and wish you all the very best to the entire team.

Hang out...

I stayed for two days in Orchid . Amazing rooms  GM Sajesh Abraham was very cooperative and helpful. When we faced few issues he personally came and managed everything as a family member. Food was also delicious. Next holiday I am planning to come to Kumarakom . Stay would be definitely at Orchid. I suggest Orchid for everyone for stay and food.

Excellent Stay

Good and clean property to stay with family,, Expecially gud support from staff, and service crew. giving a good food.. The main advantage of this property is their roof garden... I enjoy gud time with orchid...

Very good

It was good ,but the blanket that I got I think was the blanket from when the hotel started ,it needs to be updated and the room service needs to be a little bit better and it needs to be taken care of for long,The next time you go, you will be more cautious and trust the amounts less and less

My experience

Though located in town center, with in about 1 KM from KSRTC Bus stand, it is in a crowded narrow road full of potholes. Room is very spacious and clean.Bathroom/Toilet also is clean and in good condition. However, didn't get hot water at any time. On inquiring, the reply was "it is solar powered and the tank is empty" . Furniture is old and fraying. TV is ancient. Remote was not working but promptly replaced it. Electrical fittings in Bath room need repair. We didn't have any food from here, hence, can't commend about it. Overall, an average hotel with nothing much to complain or rave about. O.K for families for a day or two if expectations are not too high.

An average hotel, centrally located

Location - 500meter from KSRTC Stand and 1.5km from Railway station. 

Rooms - Very Old and needs maintenance. Bed linens were damaged and old. Really disappointed. 

Bathrooms -  the mirror will mock you like this.(See attached Pics) Bathroom ceiling is really damaged. 

Staffs - were so supportive. This is why I gave 2 stars. 

Overall...Simply avoidable hotel. They are maintaining the hotel. So come after the maintanence.

Avoid It Yaa... 

Stayed in this hotel for a night. Got a room in the 5th floor. There is little to no space for parking car since this is right in the middle of Kottayam town. The breakfast was not that great. It looked like we were the only guests on that particular floor since the hallway was completely deserted without any lights. We had to use out flashlights to find the keyhole.
Wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone.
