The service is so bad here. The manager is very rude and makes personal remarks on customer. They charge extra money when you are checking out without giving you the reason and starts abusing and threatening with calling police when you deny giving them the extra bucks. The manager is related to some political party so he even threatens you with the name of political party. 
I recently booked a couple of rooms there for a few days for a wedding function for family and while checking out he wouldn't let us check out.  He made inappropriate character suggestions on females ( us).
I asked them to give me the camera footage of his harassing us and abusing us but they wouldn't give me that. The manager ran away when I asked for the proof of his harassing and didn't even apologise for his behaviour. 
They didn't let us leave until the extra payment was done (the reason for the additional charge wasn't specified) 
The servicing is also really bad, they ask you to pay before delivering the meals to your room and the AC kept on leaking and breaking down. 
I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay at the hotel especially for females it's not safe to be in a hotel with a manager with that kind of mentality. If I could I would have given negative stars for the same.

The service is really good . I loved the food , service and quality of rooms and I always choose this hotel because of quality of food and services Mr marshal Maranda and chef Mukesh Pandey And ms pragati they all are very good

Unfortunately, there is no button for negative reviews. This is the worst hotel I have ever had in my life. Hotel management students should be made to stay there for a couple of days to understand how a hotel should not be run. From hostile staff to dirty line, apathetic bathroom to smelly lift, this hotel is a must no-no, unless you want to have a wild ride in your life. Forget hospitality, these guys don' have basic courtesy. Even if they offer free stay, please stay away!!!!!  
The locality too is horrible, full of dogs that keeping barking in the night and drunkards locked in brawls. Easily, the worst stay of my life.

Worst stay ever.

I stayed there for 1 night and I have been given ro water in bottle which has kerosene smell on complaint they have taken casually.
After that I have been served rotten food and no one is even apologize for the same.

Worst service and food

This HOtel is terrible.Insects keep roaming around the room & bed sheet. old property. poor staff. Dust can be seen at room. Receptionist has no idea how to greet customer. from reception, they have no response or delay response while service. Food is expensive..found instects in morning breakfast. Terrible Breakfast. Terrible service. never stay in this hotel..not at all Professional staff. i was not allowed to stay in hotel for next day as i gave negative feedback on oyo App. only reason i was staying in this hotel , near to moti Jheel area(office location).i will not recoomed this hotel to any one.

The most useless hotel you will ever visit. Highly unprofessional and cheap mentality. Complete wastage of money. No hospitality despite being in service industry. Book at your own risk. Not even worth 1 star category.

Disgusting

It was a two nights stay but we cut it short by one night and still we got charged for two nights.
The room was without any window and below average. The bathroom has leakage plus the flush system kept running non stop despite few complaints. 
The location is right in the middle of low end market place with 2 cow sheds where cows and buffaloes kept for milk distribution.
The saving grace was breakfast on roof top where the guy incharge was pleasent and ready to serve hot food as per choice.
Value for money no way we got way over charged. 
ONLY IF SOMEONE has to stay in area then OK otherwise NO WAY.

The hotel was booked from OYO under the pay at checkout option. But these morons demanded the money at the time of check-in only. I had booked 6 rooms in their property but they cancelled 3 of those without letting me know. The booking was made for some guests attending a marriage party. The staff of the hotel was highly unsupportive and they sounded more like KANPUR GOONS rather than professionals.

Not at all professional staff

I had traveled to kanpur and booked this hotel for my business trip. We had booked 3 rooms. The staff were most rude and impolite even at the time of check-in. Since it was just a one day trip, so we thought lets not bother about these things. The rooms stink, the room service even more pathetic. At the time of check-out, they made us wait for whole 1 hour even though they knew that we had to catch an early morning train back to Delhi. We had informed them in advance that we would be leaving at a certain time and please make sure everything is ready. still 1 hour of waiting. We caught our ride back home while the entire team was running at the railway station. What a pathetic experience we had with this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone. The employees are now calling us daily and threatening us of dire consequences if we write about it.

Worst hotel ever in my travel experiences

Most different hotel. This hotel looks very different from outside and looks beautiful. Rooms at this hotel are very clean. The services here are very good. To stay in kanpur this  hotel is perfect. Hotel malik is excellent.
