Hotel Pithla Haveli

3km before the main city, Oyo Pithla Haveli on the outskirts of Jaiselmer is a budget hotel with a touch of Royal Rajasthan. The best part is that it is neither too close to the crowded city nor too far from it. On the exteriors, the intricate carvings and yellow sandstone décor looks as amazing as the comfortable interiors. The books on display, the Rajasthani puppets, little souvenirs, wall hangings and seating arrangement speak of fine local craftsmanship. The deluxe room that I stayed in was quite spacious, well maintained, nicely decorated and with a great view of outside. The Rajasthani paintings and embroidered wall hanging added colors to the room. Jharokha was my favourite place in the room, where you can soak in the sunshine while reading a book or sip coffee while chatting with your loved ones. The cute little balcony, I don’t know why, made me feel so good Indeed a lively and beautiful room. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Food is superb.
