The location is brilliant, only a couple of mins walk from the beach and tucked away from the main road in a quiet and green corner surrounded by coconut trees. It is close to restaurants and the main road for easy transport access. The landlady is the most friendly and helpful person I have met, always smiling and answering my million questions. The property is basic, but clean. There is no hot water, but didn't need it as the storage water was nicely heated up in the winter sun.
Noise proofing isn't that good at the accommodation and unfortunately had some rowdy guests on the first night, waking everyone up at 4:30am. Would need some good noise cancellations for such instances. The other three nights were very peaceful though.

Pleasant stay in great location

Love this place Stayed for 23 nights in January 2019.
Offered breakfast in the morning, laundry and wifi free of charge. Plus ask and the lovely guesthouse owner will get you a  box of beers plus box of water, just pay her 700/800 Rupees.
The rooms were basic but clean and tidy with shower and toilet en-suit.
The rooms also had TV and fridge.
Helpful polite family who own the guesthouse, lovely people who will do anything to help.
Love the location as it isn't far from the hustle and bustle but close to the beach. 
Strongly recommended  Excellent value.
Will be back next year.

Just Perfect

Love this place. It feels like I am coming home. I visit yearly and  Milou is wonderful nothing is two much trouble. It s close to the beach (5 minutes walk). It is also quite but close to the centre of everything.

Simple guest house.

The property boasts of a good location, very near to the Calangute and Baga beaches.All amenities nearby.Market is closeby with eateries all around. Beach close-by. Rooms were basic and neat. Wonderful hosts.

Though Guest house does not consist of much amenities , still worth to stay.
24×7 Hot water, TV, Big & clean room, Calm place.

Thankful to Milu aunty (Landlord) for providing all the facilities, just tell her your wish she will fulfill it on the go.

Great Location

It was our first visit to Goa. It was a memorable stay, homely, comfortable and amidst a family which is just like ours. The room was basic, neat and clean with an attached bathroom and all amenities were provided although we didn't need a TV nor an air-conditioner. The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the property. We arrived late due to late arrival of our train from Mumbai, but the landlady Ms.Milu had come down to the main road to receive us at that late hour......such was the hospitality of our host. Our return flight was late into the night and we were given the comfort of checking out late in the day. All the talk of mosquitoes at the guest house as available in other guest reviews is sheer nonsense and we did not require any mosquito repellent whatsoever. La Blanche Guest House is the place where we shall come back to in any future visit, more due to the hospitality of the hosts than anything else. Highly recommended place for family stays but do book in advance.

A Quiet Stay Away From The Hustle And Bustle

Milu and her husband are lovely people who will do anything to help.
This is our 4th time visiting since 2004 and we love the location as it isn't far from the hustle and bustle but close to the beach. 
Rooms are basic but comfortable. Excellent value.
