We stayed here upon the recommendation of a business colleague, for two nights with our two children. Upon check-in, we felt immediately welcomed and at home. The children were greeted with sparkling lemonades, and my husband and I were given the house specialty cocktail called a black margarita that could compete with cocktails anywhere in Manhattan. Upon seeing our room the entire family agreed it was the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in some very nice five star hotels around the world. After a long travel day, we decided to have cocktails and snacks in the hotel restaurant. Everything was so delicious that we ended up staying for dinner. The hotel is very small, so most of the people in the restaurant were coming in from the outside and this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Antigua. The room also included a breakfast that my husband said was the best omelette he’s ever eaten. Needless to say, I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler coming to Antigua. It’s centrally located. The staff is lovely. The food is delicious and the bedding is so luxurious we never wanted to leave. After reading this review to my family everyone said I had to mention the bathroom!!! The bathroom was an open air spa atmosphere with two showers and a large central tub. We can’t wait to go back!!!
