We had the BEST stay with Casa Moka (and extended our stay in Antigua because of it). Spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast and the most accommodating people ever - we couldn’t recommend this place enough, it’s incredible value! There is a kitchen (and drinking water) and fridge to use, clean shared bathrooms and a terrace. While a little tricky to find first time - once you’re there, it’s perfect!

We spent two nights at Casa Moká and were greeted in a very familiar atmosphere, it is a quiet, comfy, clean and nice place to stay with affordable rates including a delicious breakfast cooked with black beans and eggs!  It is located in a quiet area of Antigua, five blocks from Central Park.

I first stayed here for two nights and liked it so much I came back for another 5 nights. The rooms are nice and clean for a fair price. There are two shared bathrooms with hot water. It gets cold at night but there's a thick blanket. Breakfast is included in the rate which is fanastic. It's a traditional Guatemalan breakfast with eggs, beans, plaintains, bread, coffee and juice. When I didn't feel like a big breakfast, she even offered me a fruit platter which was greatly appreciated. 
What I like most about this place is the lovely staff. Vilma is very nice and helpful. There's always someone around if you need assistance. She gave me great tips and organised transportation for me.

Wonderful

We booked this place through Booking for one night. We stayed longer in Antigua but left this place after one night. We arrived after a bumpy ride from San Pedro Atitlan and didn't feel very welcome. The women wasn't really friendly and she appointed us the most shabby bathroom. As they are all shared and prices equal, I don't really see why we should use one or another. When asking for information it was quite clear that she wasn't really good informed (which I can even understand) but what bothered me more is that she seemed annoyed with us asking for information. The room and bathrooms are quite clean though the room is a bit damp. The room was 200 Qt a night and we didn't really feel like this was good value for money.
