We had stayed at Kleopatras many times prior to this year and enjoyed the location. We had booked with Kleopatra and had the booking confirmation only to be told on arrival in a matter of fact way that she had no rooms, we were naturally very upset and particularly with the blasé couldn't care a less attitude that we received, I believe her words were "ah well never mind"!

Suffice to say we could never return there because we simply couldn't trust that we'd have accommodation, so disappointing after all the years of patronage.

Beware

This is a great place to stay to chill and relax right on the beach but close to the hotel centre of the village. The rooms are spotless and well maintained. It is definitely worth paying more for a sea view room.  The kitchen facilities (fridge , kettle, crockery and cutlery) are quite basic but provide the option of breakfast/lunch in the room. Our ferry left late in the day and as the room wasn’t booked we were allowed to keep it at no extra charge which was much appreciated.   The owner was welcoming,friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and stay there again. 

Great place to stay

Very well located just off the beach, simply but comfortably furnished & spotlessly clean. Kleopatra will always look after you & we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Less than 10 seconds to get your feet wet in the sea, a 5 minute walk to nearest taverna, 10 minutes to the centre of Livadia & the port.

View worth staying up for

Kleopatra went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.  Our room was kept spotlessly clean.  The studios are perfectly located in the centre of Livadia bay, a few steps from the beach.   The view from the balcony of the first floor front room was breathtakingly beautiful. We could hear the waves gently lapping the shore from our bed.  We had a beautiful view of the sunrise.  There is plenty of shade on the beach if you want it and the sea is ideal for snorkelling.  This was our first non-package holiday and the journey was easy.  We will definitely return.

Stayed in upper front studio fabulous views.The studios were cleaned every day to a very high standard.we would not hesitate to booking again and would recommend this accomodation and our host Kleopatra.

I booked a room with seaview for 6 nights. I got an e-mail saying I could only have one for 4 nights which ment a change over after 2 nights, I asked the second morning what time we did the change over and she said "The room is not free the people that are in it want to stay longer".I tried to get her to understand that a booking is a booking but to no avail.  I asked for a reduced price but to no avail. The 5th evening 19h30 she came banging on my door saying "the room is free if you want to change"! I said NO.
I spoke to 2 couples that had been shifted and changed around from room to room. The french couple next door told me that they had had 3 different rooms in 7 nights at Kleopatras.  I think that for 40euros per night, no kitchen and very basic room its a rip off. I met other tourists that told me they paid 30 euros per night for 2 with a kitchenette with the same sea view, I was on my own,.  In june there isn't any need to book unless if you are with kids or old people.
