Booked this with non refundable option, it said would incur a cancellation fee if cancelled. My partner has to go into hospital urgently, requested to cancel and sent medical evidence, but they decided to keep the the full amount £581 . Very uncaring, beware booking this non refundable option as the cancellation fee is the cost of the total paid.

Very stressful

Myself and my wife stayed here between 12th and 19th of September. On arrival we were greeted by Elsa who showed us to our room giving us the warmest of welcomes. 

The room was perfect and had everything we needed in it. The air con was brilliant and the little under counter fridge make sure our drinks stayed perfectly cold. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was lovely and towels were provided. The balcony was a sun trap and had a clothes airer which was handy after being at the beach.

Food and drinks at the hotel were absolutely perfect for us, so tasty and reasonably priced. 

The hotel owner Elsa, her family and staff were nothing short of perfection and made us feel welcomed and at home. They really couldn't do enough for us. The hotel has a bonus of being close to town and the bus routes making everything easily accessible.

We will definitely be returning back to Skiathos and would not stay anywhere else.

Can't wait to see you again Hotel Elsa !!

A beautiful stay in beautiful Skiathos !

Absolutely wonderful little find. Superb value for money. Elsa and her husband are wonderful hosts.
Room.was spacious and very clean with great air-conditioning 
Great bar with home cooked food. A little oasis!!

Superb little hotel what a find!

Amazing 6 nights at Elsa Hotel with family. The hotel was spotlessly clean, Elsa and her husband were very welcoming and treat us so well. Fantastic personal service, nothing was any bother!
Tatiana who works at the bar was so lovely with all of us, a real credit to the hotel and a friend we will now stay in touch with.
Rooms were small but everything we needed and very clean with a lovely pool view. Only booked last minute due to changing our accommodation and Elsa had everything ready for us at short notice.
Food and drinks available with a lovely menu, reasonably priced. Our son loved the milkshakes made by Elsa. Breakfast very nice.
Pool area very lovely, clean with comfy sunbeds.
Walking distance to town around 6 minutes.
Wouldn't hesitate to book in again when we return to Skiathos. We will be back!

FAB WEEK!!! 👌

Probably the most warm and welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in! Don’t not listen to the bad reviews, the cleaning was frequent and to a great standard. The distance from the buses, supermarket and town is unbeatable, the hotel really has all you need while remaining small and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again and again! 

Perfect hotel with perfect staff

The room was a bungalow in the side building, the room has only one small window, the room is dark without any light from outside.
The pictures on the hotel's website did not match the characteristics of our room at all.
From this room you had to go to the city or to the swimming pool, the room was so dark even during the day.
The swimming pool area was good because it was better to be there than in a dark room. Really disappointing for the price of the room
The location of the hotel above the city center didn't feel comfortable either, walking among the traffic was dangerous.
Parking lot and ramp directly in front of the room. Also the hotel's walking routes in front of the room under everyone's eyes, really sad.
I do not recommend for longer stays, maybe 1 night at most.

Dark bungalow

What a lovely place to stay very clean and friendly we were a family of six and throughly enjoyed ourselves there . The pool was great and plenty of sun Beds  and umbrellas as well as lots of chairs dotted around. Only 10 minutes walk into town so very convenient and only €5 if you returned by taxi .

Great Hotel

We stayed for 11 nights at the beginning of July. We had stayed previously just for 1 night 3 years ago before the hotel was refurbished. It was so nice to see that a lot of effort and care had been put into refurbishing the rooms. The hotel it self is very small (around 20 rooms) which adds to the charm of it being 'small and friendly'. Another great part the refurb is the beds are now a lot more comfortable than they previously was and the bathrooms have had a huge face lift. 

The hotel and pool is ser around lovely landscaped gardens and there's beautiful grap vines growing all over the front of the building and around the bar area which adds to the charm even more. The pool itself was clean and there was plenty of sunbeds or little seating areas hidden in the gardens if you wanted a nice spot to read your book or enjoy your drink.

Food and drink was very reasonably priced and the staff are all very lovely and welcoming but they maintain a polite distance which we respected. If you want a great base for Skiathos town (which wad a leisurely 10 minute walk away) Hotel Elsa is ideal. Nearest bus stop is about 8 minutes a walk away and a taxi from the Airport is about 5 minutes. All in all it its a great location and excellent value for money. 

We absolutely love Skiathos and the Town for the evening bars and restaurants so Hotel Elsa is an ideal place to enjoy a great holiday in Skiathos. We will be booking this hotel again for sure when we come back to Skiathos for our next holiday. 

Great Location and Beautiful Little Hotel

The Tripadvisor reviews date back to 2013 since when we have had Brexit, Trump and Ukraine and from recent reviews this hotel has obviously greatly improved in recent times. We paid £81 per night (less than some budget chains charge room only) for which the hotel was spotless, had very efficient air con, an abundance of hot water and decent pool with nice sunbeds.
This hotel will never be 5 star but offers excellent vfm

Excellent value

Just got back today, from a lovely weeks holiday. What a perfect stay. 
I can’t fault it. 
Such a friendly welcome, food was fab, room was clean, and towels and sheets changed every day. 
Cute little bbq night once a week.
5 minute walk from the town.
Get booked, you won’t regret it xx
