Stayed here for 5 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was a good size apartment with a nice view but it looked nothing like the Hotel’s website photos, and overall we were disappointed with our accommodation, it was much more basic than expected. We heard from one of the local shop keepers that  it was under new management and it would seem a work in progress at the moment. Not really any hotel facilities. There seemed to be an area by reception that was once a bar/breakfast room, but it was unused. 

Good points were:
Nice big balcony with  wonderful views of the sea and surrounding hills.
Bedrooms good size and  clean bedding and towels. 
Good air con in bedrooms.
Good location close to beach, restaurants and 2 little shops for essentials. (Very steep climb to the apartment blocks, 5 sets of stairs so not good if mobility issues).

Negative Points: 
Poorly equipped kitchenette, no kettle just a little saucepan to  boil if you want a cuppa. No cereal bowels. No plug for the sink or washing up bowel.  I did feel like I was camping. 
Bathroom was very poor. A tiny shower tray, with a curtain and a  handheld shower, impossible not to flood the bathroom. Hard for us girls to wash long hair. It was like Greece 20 years ago, we haven’t had anything this basic for a long time and it was unexpected as it looked very different to the photos online. Definitely needs updating. 
Cleaner came every day but I think she needed to clean her mop as the apartment stank like wet dog after she’d cleaned, very unpleasant. Hair left in the corners, not a very thorough job.

We used their airport pick up service, which was very  reasonable at €20 for 4 of us plus all our luggage.  We were met on arrival by a nice young lad, who showed us to the car and put our cases in the boot, however we waited in the car for 30 mins before he was ready to drive us, not exactly sure why, but think he had to wait to meet someone else.  The lady on reception was nice. One evening as we were  getting ready to go out our water went off, she immediately had it checked out and had someone sort it out, unfortunately it took 40 mins for the water to come back on and be warm enough to shower, but that was out of her hands.

Overall I wouldn’t personally stay here again. It could be a lovely little complex, with a few improvements, but as it stands currently,  the view is the only thing going for it.

Nice view but needs improvement

We had a fantastic time! Lovely clean rooms (with air con), the friendliest staff who are always happy to help, and a stones throw away from the beach. The only downfall is the extremely steep incline to get up to the hotel, but as long as you are able bodied your legs get used to it after a day or two. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Thankyou Hotel Tellis for a brilliant weeks holiday! For a "2 star" hotel this is one of the best hotels on the Greek islands I have ever stayed in.
 The room was immaculate, cleaned every day and sheets changed every other day. Wonderful spacious balcony with a washing line. FREE AIRCON! Which worked perfectly the whole time. Kitchenette had a sparkling clean fridge/freezer. I would recommend adding some other items to the kitchenette (smaller saucepan, kettle and cereal bowls). 
Perfectly situated next to the beach and within minutes of the bus stop. Yes it is on a steep hill, but I was aware of this before staying there and it is made very clear from the description and pictures, so not sure how people can complain about this.
Supermarket just across the road with everything you need at reasonable prices, walking distance to some wonderful tavernas. 
The staff are welcoming, friendly and genuinely interested in your wellbeing during your stay. 
As solo traveller, I felt very safe here and enjoyed my stay in skiathos and at hotel tellis! THANKYOU!

Only a 2 star hotel??

I want to take this opportunity to thank Zoe, Mikaela and the team at Telis Hotel for a FANTASTIC holiday last month …… the genuine warm Greek hospitality that they welcomed us with, was very much appreciated 👏
 
The friendly atmosphere, professional guidance & caring help with anything that we requested was superb and they are an absolute credit to your company 🙌
 
The cleanliness of the hotel was truly exceptional, the pillows / towels and the ‘gratis’ coffee were of the highest quality and the high-end level of customer service was of a 5 ⭐️ premier hotel or resort ……. also, the central location for the gorgeous beach, great restaurants, local bars and the bus route being right outside the hotel was brilliant 😎

The only 'very slight' downside of our stay was the lovely smell of the home cooked bread, croissants and pastries that were coming from your kitchen every morning ..... please open a coffee shop on your terrace, so that your guests can taste the produce that is being lovingly baked on the premises 🙏❤️😋

The room was spotless, cleaned every day, a great view over the valley with a partial sea view. We were impressed with all the staff who were very helpful, and the location is walking distance to a cracking beach (it is a steep hill to walk up though, so transport essential if you have mobility issues) Will definitely return, can't recommend it highly enough.

First class

We stayed at this hotel for 12 days. The hotel is in quiet part of Skiathos near beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very kind and made us feel welcome. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and flowers. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come again.

Gorgeous

We booked this quite last minute when choice was quite limited on the island. Turned out we couldn't have picked a better location and "hotel". 
It is located in the area of Agia Paraskevi which is approx 15-20 mins by bus from bus stop number 4. A taxi from the airport will cost 20 Euros.
The accommodation is set over 3 buildings, the next a little higher up the hill than the last.
We were in the middle building which is quite a climb on foot but achievable with a reasonable level of fitness. You can drive up if you have a car.
The middle building are apartments/studios rather than hotel accommodation with a kitchen (decent size fridge/sink/double hot plate), bathroom/wetroom, bedroom and balcony.
Although some pots and pans are included it would be quite hard to self cater. There are plenty of excellent tavernas within walking distance.
The balcony looked over the hills opposite and also a glimpse of the sea.
The rooms are immaculately clean and kept so during the stay. Cleaned everyday and new sheets towels every other day.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating

Super Place to Stay

Great, friendly service and clean with a wonderful view to the Aghia Paraskevi bay. Just 100m from the Aghia Paraskevi beach which is nice and sandy. Kitchen has everything you need for staying on a vacation. 
If you want peaceful holidays this is the perfect place to stay!

Cute and great place to stay :)

The climb to the hotel is too steep and if you are in the "new" building there's additional feels-like 100 steps to get there. The kitchen is loaded with ants, you really can't put any food anywhere. There are a lot of mosquitoes so you can't open the balcony door at night and they didn't bother to have a proper window with mosquito net so you don't have to freeze all night under a cheap AC that has no fan blowing adjustment. For the money we paid we could have rented a fabulous villa in Bali. Reconsider visiting this place. And also Skiathos buses - living hell! Run for your life. And rent a car is 50 euros a day. But that's your only choice if you're with a baby as buses are terrible, I repeat terrible. Telis hotel - just a big meh. Apart from a nice Albanian cleaning lady who is sweet and polite no other signs of humane behavior. And I forgot to mention a terrible bathroom - after you take a shower there's a lake in it, too small and too cheap-built for the money they charge. Or did the Serbian tourist agency just ripped us off? We'll never know :) 

Not worth it

Friendly staff, very, very clean and reasonably big rooms (cleaned every day with new towels every other day) with the terrace with the view over the village. 
The only remark is that there is no wifi although they say there is, it doesn't work at all.
