A 3 week stay with our baby, we enjoyed the peaceful setting, stunning views and fantastic hospitality. 
We loved the pool, rarely we had to share it, and the family who run the place are so welcoming and helpful. The staff are always happy to help, and the cleaners kept our place perfect, being very considerate to nap times and our changing daily timetables! Also the family owners make their own olive oil, this is must have souvenir, it's delicious. 

Great for families

Small family run apartments with a nice aspect over Kouremenos bay.  The grounds are well kept and a nice pool area for relaxing.  The rooms were a good size, our room had a lovely balcony which looked over the bay.  It was a short walk into the village were there is a great mini market and Elia Comfort Food restaurant which was my favourite restaurant in the area.  The area is very popular for windsurfing and mountain biking.

Great value and relaxing

We stayed at Elia Studios for 9 days and had a wonderful holiday. The studio was big enough for us 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 6 and 8), and we thoroughly enjoyed the clean pool, the wind-shaded breakfast area and the fantastic views. Staff were extremely friendly, especially Katharina who spoke excellent English. 
The apartments are based in the middle of a big olive grove, and the nearby village of Agathias is only a short walk away. The beaches in the area were stunning, especially Itanos a short drive to the north. We also really enjoyed crepes and milkshakes at Nostimies in Palaekastro and would recommend Anna Cars for car rental from the airport at Herakleion. 
We look forward to coming back soon for another sun-filled holiday in this beautiful part of the world!

Beautiful & Lovely

In the middle of the olive gardens. The studio we had was very spatious with a well equiped kitchenette. All very clean and cleaned daily. A small swimming pool to have a cool down if you didn't want to go to the close beach of Chiona (5-10min walk). The ruins of Roussolakos are right on the same way. On the bigger beach of Kouremenos there is a windsurf school if you want some water sports. Good point for visiting Moni Toplou, Itanos, Vai, gorge of Chochlakies - all in a range of 10-15 min by car. Kato Zakros is a 45min ride. You can have your breakfast served for - we didn't try that since we had everything in the fridge. Just the internet connection was kind of lunatic - the only thing to criticise.... For finding the the way there are indicators already at the entry of Agathias (they are only written very small) of using "here" app (also in off-line mode) found it without problem (just tap Elia Studios).

Nice studios

Located in the tiny village of Agathia this is a gem of a place. The studios are spotless, comfortable  and provide everything you need for a relaxing visit.  The area of Eastern Crete is still off the beaten tourist path and you get a sense of how Cretans live.  The views are spectacular and the owners lovely and accommodating as were the helpful and very friendly staff.  It is a bit hard to find but once you have been on the little road that winds through the  Olive Groves once it is just fine.  There's a shortcut to walk to the village where the excellent family taverna - Vaios - is located. Best meals we had in over a month on Crete. There are  2 beautiful beaches within walking distance and others are a short drive away.  A car is essential to enjoy this special area of Crete.  There are several gorge hikes that should not be missed if you want to see beautiful local flora and fauna and feel up to a bit of exercise. I admit I have a long standing bias towards this special region of Crete having spent the better part of a year hanging out in Sitia with other 20 somethings in the 70’s.  If you want luxury or the endless bar and holiday scene that has blighted the area between Heraklion and Malia this place is not for you.  We are a group of 4 couples from 30 - 70 and are pinching ourselves that we get to stay here.  It is picture perfect and located in an area that offers beaches, unspoiled towns and villages, archeological sites, spectacular scenery, great tavernas, and fantastic hiking from easy to rigourous. If you want to have a taste of Kriti book your spot here ASAP.   Elia Studios are magical.
