Gerakari Thalassa Studios

We visited the Studios Gerakari in August. The apartments are quite remote and transport is needed. Spyros, the owner, was a delightful man and couldn't do enough to help us. He contacted a vehicle hire company for us who offered to deliver the vehicle to us and arranged for a taxi to collect us and take us to the airport at the end of our stay. The apartments are spotlessly clean courtesy of Maria, who was so pleasant and helpful. They were cleaned every day and the bed linen and towels changed every three days. Towels could be changed more frequently if you wanted. You just needed to leave them in the bath. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely views of the Ionian sea. Amoudi is within walking distance with Tsilivi and Alykanas just a short drive away. Both lovely resorts with the best beach being in Alykanas. There is a hotel just around the corner from the apartments, on the main road to Amoudi who offer their swimming pool to everyone. Please don't be put off these apartments because of their location. If you drive it is very easy to hire a car, quad bike or motor bikes and the rest of this beautiful island is your oyster!
