In a two level renovated historical old house nicely decorated, in the old town stands this cute and elegant hotel with it's cozy rooms. There is no breakfast, or a lounge for a coffee. No elevator. Polite stuff. Easy car access. Recommended! 

Stylish hotel in the old town. 

I booked this hotel for one night ! It was hot night and we open the ac which was on the wall above our heads . While we were sleeping we felt that something has fallen in our head . We were shocked cause we were sleeping ! The ac which was old enough was creating ice and the ice fallen in our head . The bed was full of ice and water so three o clock in the morning we informed the reception to come and change the sheets . No apologies of course ! Next morning while paying to the reception we informed the reception about this inconvenience we faced and we informed that it was a bad  experience . Then - the famous young man that a lot of people complain about his inappropriate behavior , who told us that he was the owner - insulted us , blackguarded us and violently pushed us out of the hotel . He and his mum!!!I really cannot understand how this hotel is still open and people continue staying there ! It’s a old fashioned and shabby hotel , with poor decoration , and bounder and ungentlemanly owners who most probably inherited the hotel from the grandpas and they do not know to manager and serve the guests ! 

Awful Experience overall! Please do not stay there ! The rooms and the behavior do not reserve even one dollar ! Shame on them! 

I have leeway informed the police and I will lawsuit them  .

not really a good experience ☹️ the room was very small, a little dingy and very past its prime but for one night on the low end of acceptable. the real trouble was the noise coming from a big public party finishing at 2 am even after we were repeatedly been assured that the room would be very quiet. we asked for a gesture on the bill when we departed in the morning and a slightly hysterical man (working in the hospitality business since 25 years as he very importantly stated) called the police on us! all in all a very interesting take on service and customer happiness! the police were very nice, the man kept on babbling about how it was not his job as a hotelier to know if there would be noise from public activities and we payed the full bill before leaving. interesting experience but not something to recommend. try another hotel 😉

The King Othon Hotel was a unique experience. The building itself was very nice maintained and had a great "yesteryear" feeling with the décor.  Easy to find and within walking distance of everything in the old town section. The staff were great and very accommodating.

Wonderful old hotel with beautiful interior.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. The hotel is well located and is very close to the harbor and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Reception was very welcoming and the staff was very accommodating. We had a good sized double room on the second floor that was clean and comfortable. The garden on the grounds was a great place to enjoy a pre-dinner bottle of wine. As noted by some other reviewers some aspects of the hotel are a bit dated. We were told that the hotel will be undergoing significant updating and renovation early next year. The same family also owns the nearby Victoria hotel.

Very nice old hotel with wonderful staff and character

A very centrally located small hotel with so much potential. So much history and could be an excellent boutique property with just some small renovations. Needs a really good clean, paint and for the very old carpets and curtains to be removed. An outside courtyard that is beautiful to sit in.

The price is indicative of what to expect, a little tired but well kept - the room is roomy counterbalanced by a small bathroom that is not inviting but functional so you might find yourself leaving the hair for an extra day. On the plus side it is a beautiful building and we have a balcony onto the street square with a sea view of sorts, looking down onto a gelati and cake shop next door both we have sampled and both excellent. In my book these things are more important to make the trip. The room is clean, crisp sheets and it is a firm bed. All the cafes and restaurants nearby and just park at the harbour 5mins walk away. Breakfast is not exciting enough to go back the next day; it’s not bad but it’s easier to grab something out and have an espresso rather than drip coffee. I would recommend for keeping to your budget so you can splash elsewhere as the town is so beautiful you really just need a comfortable crash pad and this does that really well as a great place to rest your weary bones.
