This older style family run property is extremely well maintained and clean.  The location is in a residential area, two mins walk from one beach and four minutes to the next.  Whilst the nearest bars and restaurants are on the road behind the second beach, there is a greater choice in the main town area within a ten minute stroll.  Most of its' guests are returns and Greek ex-pats which speaks for itself.

I think this is my sixth visit here, always in June.  This is an older very well family-run establishment and I always feel like I am coming home.  Very clean and well maintained.  Three mins walk for a swim and four for a bite to eat on the beach with a bigger variety of bars and restaurants well within ten mins walk.  What I love about Lemnos is its real Greek feel and I would say that The Poseidon probably gets more Greek tourists from the mainland than others which is probably why there are very few reports on Trip Advisor....Greeks don't bother with Trip Advisor, they keep places like this to themselves.

The hotel is very close to the center of Myrina at a quiet area. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was recently rennovated ,but the window was looking at the main building tho we had no sense of smells. The owners were kind. A good choice for somenone who want an economical hotel.

This is my fifth visit to Myrina and Poseidon.  The old style rooms are traditionally furnished, very clean and well maintained by Katerina, her husband Stavros and Son Paris.  The TV's got replaced last year (albeit mainly Greek programs), the bathrooms I believe were all renovated this year.  They get a lot of repeat business which says it all I say.  I always feel welcome and relaxed here. This is where you would stay if you like Greece and what it has to offer.  If you prefer a full service hotel you may need to stay outside Myrina but you would miss a lovely atmosphere in this location.

This is my fourth visit to Myrina, Lemnos and to this establishment.  The rooms are nicely furnished in an older Greek traditional style and are well maintained and serviced by Katerina and her family.  They have a strong repeat business base which is always a good sign and for me it is like coming home!
