Apollo City Hotel

4 friends stayed in July, it was delightful. Malia is famously a party town but the Maliatim apts are off the strip, situated in the old town which is quieter and charming. It's a small family run hotel but is very clean and well cared for. The owner Dimitri and his gorgeous wife go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and are getting the best out of your holiday. Many times Dimitri invited us on trips or meals and we had a great time collecting snails and cooking them cretan style. If you are looking to drink and dance the hotel is just 3 minutes walk from the main strip, but with none of the noise and trouble. This makes it ideal for families or couples looking for a cultural and relaxing break. Well worth the money as it has recently been fully refurbished, would highly recommend you attend Dimitri' s events and drink wine with him and his lovely family.
