Sofia Hotel and Apartments Lefkada

The accommodations provided for the price of 45 euros per night where quite fair. The room was clean and equipped with pretty much anything a couple or family needs. 

Air condition worked great. We didn't use the TV so I cannot have an opinion on this. The rooms facing the street in front of the house have a beautiful view on the scenery harbor, which will give you a fresh start for the day on your vacation. 

The location is also great. You can explore all the southern side of Lefkada in just one afternoon. Also, you will be at the town of Lefkada in approximately 20-25 minutes which is not too much in my opinion.

On the cons side, the central lamp was not working in the room and the bathroom was narrow.

Overall, I would visit it again.

Excellent service, clean rooms and very friendly owners. The location is very convenient for travelling around the island, and the owners gave helpful tips for our excursions. The view is magnificent.

The apartment has a wonderful view of the bay and hundreds of sailboats. Owners are very friendly, service is very good, and rooms is clean. Close to a small and beautiful beach Dessimi.  The locacion is good for travelling around the island.

Great value for money

magnificent view of the bay

If you want a clean room that is inexpensive then this might be for you.
Sofia is located just outside Nydri - about 2km away and overlooks the bay at Vlicho. Ask for a room at the front if you can for the view - it is lovely.
The studio we stayed in was quite spacious with separate kitchenette. The bathroom was adequate. Loads of hot water which is great but a tiny room smelling of damp.
The rooms have air con.
The owners live in the house behind the apartments and are friendly and helpful.
The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade generally but for budget rooms they are perfectly ok.

Basic

The location was good for us as we wanted a starting point to explore Lefkada. But the place was a bit run down and not so well maintained. Location is on the main street and there is no soundproofing. So even we had the room to the backside we could hear every car and motorcycle. The room wasn't cleaned properly. The main door lock wasn't locking properly. Wifi wasn't working at all in the room. The bed is too small for two adults unless you're on honeymoon (but then you would probably not choose this place...) The kitchen utensils are little and a mixed bag. Not very clean too. The kitchen exhaust is just going into the kitchen... The bathroom is small and the shower wasn't working properly too. All in all its an average place and for 45 Euros overpriced.
