Giannoulis Santa Marina Plaza - Adults Only

The Santa Marina Plaza is truly a lovely hotel. Run by the ever smiling Alexander (I nicknamed him Alexander The Great!) nothing was too much trouble for him and his superb staff. There was a genuine warmth in the welcome and this was also true of all the staff. The hotel itself is on the beach and has a beach bar serving not only drinks but food too. The dining room is well laid out for buffet style dining with waiter service for any wine or beer. The food is varied, plentiful and very well cooked. We had a room overlooking the beautiful pool. The beds were very comfortable, there was a small, well stocked fridge, a decent size TV with BBC News among lots of channels, a Nespresso machine plus a kettle and tea and coffee provided. The rooms were expertly cleaned daily. The whole hotel was spotless. I cannot praise this hotel enough. It was such a pleasure to stay there and I would most certainly recommend it - although be aware that it seems to be an adults only hotel. Well done indeed Alexander. I hope to see you again by which time I hope to have learned a bit more Greek. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
