Best holiday!! 'Theos village apartments' is a wonderful, relaxing, friendly, family run establishment. From the moment we arrived at apx 10.30pm we were greeted by the owners with such a wonderful welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. They brought out pizza (which is to die for!) And lovely Greek Salads as we hadn't eaten ( even though the kitchen was closed). We sat on the stunning terrace into the early hours and by the end of the evening we were on first name terms with them and felt we'd known each other for years! 
The owners, Yota and Dimitris and their son's,  Micheal and Alex work very hard to provide the best,  friendly and efficient service. 
The apartments are lovely and clean, very comfortable beds and have all you need for a self catering holiday. Maids came in to clean and provided fresh towels every day. Air con was great and free! 

The pool area is stunning, not huge but never too busy,  we always had beds and we were a party of 10. Micheal and Alex would bring us drinks and ice lollies at the pool to cool us down.
The bar and restaurant area is a fabulous, modern setting and provided lunches and evening meals very reasonably priced. We ate there on 2 evenings which we thoroughly enjoyed! Dimitris does all the cooking and is very particular, ensuring all his guests enjoy his food. Yota (who is originally from Canada) strives to make sure everyone is happy and has everything they need. Micheal and Alex are the most charming and helpful lads, advising on local trips and restaurants and attending to every need. We loved all our chats! 

The local area is quiet enough but has what you need. A great, well stocked supermarket a few minutes walk, a beautiful beach about 8 minute walk with a lovely beach cafe, more shops and restaurants on the main beach road ( there are 2 routes, one is quicker). 
The bus into Chania is few minutes walk from apartments and only €1.00 per ticket. Takes around 10 minutes ( if that). Buy your tickets at supermarket before going on the bus. 
Chania old town is beautiful , we went in most days, lots of shops and fab restaurants on the harbour. 

My parents stayed across the road in Theos holiday apartments ( a separate business) because Theos village couldn't fit us all in. But my parents used Theos village facilities and were greeted and treated as one of their own guests, which was lovely! 'Mama & Papa' loved it! 

I cannot rate our stay highly enough! We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and made great friends with the 'Theos village family'.  We were sad to leave! We are looking forward to returning next year!

Just spent 8 nights at Theos and can not recommend enough. Giota, Dimitri, Michael and Alex are fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us as a Family of 10, they are super friendly, hard working and made our holiday special. Great location, clean rooms, clean pool area, amazing greek pizza. Bus stop in to Chania close by and so is the beach.  We chose the wrong month to go as it was way too hot but if I was to go back to Crete which I hope to, I would definitely stay here again.....and the beds are super comfy!  👌

You don't get much better at this price point, the owners are absolutely lovely and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, the location is spot on, only a short bus ride into Chania and a short walk to the beach. Would stay here again. 

Wonderful affordable stay

Above and beyond (We arrived super late on our first night and even though the kitchen was closed Giota offered a fresh pizza from scratch which was amazing). This act of kindness really set the tone for our whole trip.

Knowledge of area (restaurants, bars, places to see etc) We received some impeccable recommendations.

Family run and and gives a home away from home vibe. Cooking, maintenence, bartending and hosting are all done by the family and they are all perfect at what they do. 

Restaurant quality food and service by the owners. Chicken Gyros being my favourite and my partner loved the pizza (which they made special without cheese for her and was made in a genuine pizza oven).

Great selection of tasty cocktails. Alex is a mixologist who can also suprise you with cocktails and we were never disappointed.

Amazing rooms and turndowns. Freshly renovated with amazing lighting (For a example a huge vanity mirror!)

Great pool and outdoor areas. Amazing, dramatic view of the mountains which could never get old.

On the first night we had a small issue with the shower which was promptly fixed the same day by Dimitri and Michael and was not an issue for the rest of the trip. We were also given complimentary drinks for the slight issue which we were more than happy with.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Giota, Dimitri, Michael and Alex for making our holiday perfect!

home away from home

Perfect location, just a short walk to  the beach og and a short bus-ride to the city of Chania ( or a 30 min walk) 
The family who run the place is the perfect host!! Very service-minded. And on the good mood to the maid’s, you know this is a good work-place. 
I’ll strongly recommend this place:)

Perfect location in Chania

The price was right; I mean, 60 EUR a night is not that high in high season and its near the beach and the people are very friendly as well; I was surprised the lady knew my and my friend name which was very good! I just have to say though, in the end its all about the quality of the rooms; and it’s a bit outdated in the way; it definitely need some renovation in the rooms but it has some potential; but the pool is definitenly not to stay for the entire day, so I just got in to other hotel pools by arrangement.

The staff was really friendly. The food is also good, specially the omlette for breakfast. The room was clean and spacious.
The location is perfectly ballanced between the beach(500m) and Chania town(3000m).
Near you can find a minimarket(50m)

Perfect place for a Holliday. 

Not far from the town about 40 min walk, clean and spacious rooms, huge pool and such a friendly family run business, in a quiet area but lots to do around, 3 min walk to supermarket and restaurants and a 10 min walk to most beautiful beach, would definitely recommend!!

Amazing stay

Spent 3 nights at Theos Village, and loved it. The room was big (family apartment room) and clean, with private balcony, aircon, tv, fridge ++. Great location only 30 min walk into Chania town, and only 5 minutes walk from Chrissi Akti beach. The managers and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would easily stay here again! :) 

Super friendly staff, clean rooms and great value for money!!

I stayed here for 10 days with my other half. For the price, the stay was excellent. It had a proper family-run feeling, with the staff all being pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The place was always perfectly clean and the food was hearty with plenty of choice. We would definitely return.
