Apartments are on the mountain slope. To reach the beach you need to go many stairs up and down. For us this training was not a problem.
Room was good and spacious enough, small kitchen was enough to cook simple breakfast or dinner. View from balcony is really great.
The host was very kind and helpful. She have sent us the map, how to reach the hotel by car, but it came too late, and I have had no possibility to read email. And the way, navigator proposed is really hard to drive.
The only problem we experienced - bath drain was not good enough, and water sometimes came out back.   
One lifehack for whose who like me like deep blue see and empty beaches - there's a lane going around the coast to a place where it's possible to go to water, and swim 150 m up to the empty bay with nice beach.

Good place in Asos with some physical training

Wonderfully located overlooking beautiful Asos bay. Friendly owners were very helpful when we needed to print our boarding passes ( Ryanair customers take note: you can not use an online boarding pass at kephalonia airport!) Rooms were really clean and well equipped.
Rooms cleaned every day and sheets changed every other day.
Not recommended for less mobile as many steps- our thighs are fit now though.😁
Asos is very beautiful with a stunning harbour and small!l shingle beach. Not overwhelmed with loads of bars and restaurants.

Fantastic view _ says it all!

These rooms offer a beautiful view of Assos, the staff are efficient and the rooms are cleaned daily. While the space is clean the rooms are not well equipped. There is a tiny kitchenette without a toaster or Microwave/oven and an even smaller bathroom. Its position is within walking distance to town ( down many many steps) but the roads are very narrow and there is little parking. The beds were very hard , I think it is not value for money and better suited for couples than a small family. 

Accommodation in assos 

The owner avoids issuing receipts to evade tax. The place is a difficult  long hike from the bay in the photos shown and then 63 steps to reception. Water from taps and shower is salt water and there is only parking for 2-3 cars but these are mostly taken. Find an alternative to this or its neighbour Assos Niriides owned by the same owner.

Avoid this place aka Assos Niriides

The problem with Fantastic View (also known as "Assos Vassilikades" or "Nerides") starts with the deceptive advertising. The photos are taken some 500m down hill and by the water. But even when you reach the premises there is a 60 steps climb if you have any of the apartments with the best views. Otherwise your neighbouring apartment can be noisy or booked by smokers who share the same outdoor landing. Parking is only available for about 4 cars - no others available anywhere close.
Any eating relies on a sandwich make and electric jug and the water from the taps is salt water.
The owner wanted payment in cash and with no receipt, (Why is Greece in an economic mess?) and there is no price list on the back of the apartment door as is the norm (presumably law).
When we asked the owner if there was a more accessible apartment available because my partner has an irregular heartbeat she responded that "they can use bubbles to enlarge arteries these days" or words to that effect. The shower area is enclosed but is very tight and would not suit a larger person - It is the tightest we have come across in extensive travelling.

Stay away and dont reward greed.
