Enjoyed my time there,staffs were lovely and attentive. Although i arrive during a quieter season, there was still few things to do. Would have love a warm breakfast beside the coffee and toast i had every day. Fruits were limited to canned peaches only which lacked options.

This hotel is exceptionally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean. We were at the back of the hotel and was a little disappointed at first. However I soon realised that the rooms with the sea views were in full sun in the afternoon and early evening and I did not see anyone sitting on the balconies during this time as it was probably too hot. The rooms at the back have the sun in the morning but very pleasant to sit out on the balcony in the afternoon and early evening. Also great for people watching. Unfortunately there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Luckily I had taken my travel kettle. There is a safe and air conditioning in the rooms. The payment for the air conditioning was €5 per day. We travelled with JET 2. I understand that some people had to pay €7 per day with some other travel companies. I think the safe cost was approximately €20 for 2 weeks. Bedding was changed frequently and towels were replenished as required by leaving the towels on the bathroom floor. Shower was not so good  as it was difficult to position without it falling off. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Pool was lovely but not heated. Pool ladders into the pool are difficult. Would benefit from proper steps for those people who find the pool ladders difficult. The pool ladders need replacing with rungs that have more depth. Great pool bar that sell a good range of snacks both hot and cold. This is only open for food for a limited period. Think it is between midday and 3.pm. Some days it was difficult to get a pool lounger due  to people reserving them from very early on and then not coming down to the pool until midday or later. There is a bar in the hotel which is open in the evening that provides a good range of drinks and the barman is lovely. Breakfast is as you would expect, continental. It consisted of yoghurt, mainly tinned peaches, occasionally water melon, cheeses, ham, boiled eggs, bread, small croissants and pastries and tea and coffee. Would benefit from including fresh fruit every day. We bought some fresh  peaches from the supermarket nearby and took them down to breakfast as we are not keen on tinned fruit. Also the bread was cut very thinly and not ideal for toast. Greece has lovely bread usually. The hotel is a short walk to the Main Street where there are plenty of tavernas. Also it is a short walk to the nearest beach where a parasol and 2 loungers cost €10 per day. The beach is lovely and the sea is so clear. You need to get down early to get your sun loungers. Even in September all the loungers had gone by 11am. I would not advise going to Makris Gialos beach which is a good 20 minute from the hotel and a large number of steps onto the beach. We were told it was €20 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol at the back and an extortionate €35 on the front row.

Very Clean Hotel

Lovely hotel rooms a bit small but if you are like us we only sleep in them. The room was cleaned every day and new towels and bedding and staff were really nice and helpful.Nice big pool and plenty of sun beds no need to rush down for them. The pool bar staff were great and  always had time to have a chat with you. The breakfast was Continental plenty of ham cheese tomatoes, fruit yoghurt cereal pastries toast tea and coffee. The hotel is situated in a great location about 5 min to beach and 2 min to the Main Street where you will find plenty off  lovely  Restaurants and drinking places and you have to have a trip in to town 45 min walk or 8   Euros in taxi . Only one Fault the steps into the pool  need to be better for the elderly. But had a great time met some great people and I’ve booked for next year but in there apartments.

One off the best places in Greece

We booked last minute and this was the only hotel available that had a great location. We weren’t expecting much for a 2 star hotel. For the price we paid it was more than adequate, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. We paid for the safe and the aircon, both reasonably priced. The swimming pool was a good size and again very clean. We enjoyed the food and drinks around the pool. The only negatives we had were, our room was next to breakfast and unless your up at 7am, we were woken up with chairs scrapping along the floor, our bathroom did have a sewage smell at times and flooded after a shower (wasn’t too much of an issue, we just shut the door and to be fair the maid always cleaned it well). The nightly receptionist lady we found very rude, I did have an argument with her over leaving the key at reception. She told me it would be a big problem if I lost the key but I could take the safe key out with me? Made no sense. I don’t want the hassle of handing my key back every time I leave the room and come back. Plus the safe was so small I had to leave an iPad in the room. I asked what happens if something is stolen and she said well the maid has a key anyway… I do feel there is a risk of things being stolen here, especially when you are told to leave your balcony door open for air. We refused to do this but the maid would leave it open anyway. Maybe Kefalonia is low crime area but people from around the world visit and times are changing. For this reason I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

You get what you pay for.

Ignore any of the few negative comments as this hotel is ideally located, immaculately clean & managed by welcoming friendly & efficient staff. The pool area is kept pristine & the pool bar run by 2 lovely people & the poolside dogs Buster & Bingo. The morning & evening reception ladies were also fantastic-nothing was too much trouble & always smiling.
We were in the 2 bedroom family apartment which was huge with a massive balcony area, the view blew us away. The cleaning staff were superb, not bursting in too early or too late so ideal.
Finally the location opposite Aqua Blu bar (I think) which was probably the best in Lassi…in our opinion…review to follow.

Simply superb

Hotel is just lovely. Excellent staff, friendly and always 😊 
I requested gluten free bread, which was ready & waiting for me every morning.
More fresh fruit would of been nice.
Room was adequate with large balcony.  bed comfortable with soft pillows.
Pool area was excellent. Very clean, food was always served with a smile.
As this was our first visit to Greece, we were very pleased with our 2 week stay
Would recommend & look forward to returning 


Great hotel with stunning views 👌

We had a great 11 night stay at this hotel. Yes the hotel is dated but it is spotlessly clean. House keeping in the rooms was excellent. Continental breakfast was enjoyable too. Top tip bring a extension lead as there was only 1 socket in the room. And also pay extra for the sea view it really is worth it.

Lovely Hotel, nice pool area and very close to Makrios Galos Beach.  Also close to all the restaurants in Lassi.  Rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed on bed & breakfast basis and food was good.  Would definitely return.  Please note that we actually stayed here in August 2019.

Lovely Hotel Close to All Lasssi's Amenitities

The rooms are tired but recently decorated. The bathroom/toilet, while well cleaned daily, was in need of repair/replacement; very 1960's. You could not fault the cleanliness of all facilities inside and out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Continental Breakfast was boring same old same old every day, no variation.

Very friendly staff and immaculately clean, BUT.

We had a lovely week from start to finish. Lovely warm welcome when we arrived and all the staff were polite and friendly. As others have said, depending on your taste, the decor is a  bit plain in the rooms. Dark wood and some old-fashioned light fittings. However, the room was perfectly fine, so glad of the fridge, the shower was very good and we were surprised that our sheets and towels were changed every day. We didn't have the TV on so don't know what it was like. Our balcony was  above the entrance so it was entertaining watching folks coming and going. We normally go self-catering so we enjoyed going for breakfast every day. Plenty of choices and athough pretty much similar each day with some variations, everything was fresh and tasty. Variety of places to sit and eat  breakfast.
Delighted too that there was no problem of getting a sunbed at the pool, whatever the time of day. Excellent central but quiet location, other than the music from the nearby restaurant on a Wednesday and Saturday night, but it did stop 
at 12 and we were entertained when sitting on our balcony after returning from our meal and cocktails. Enjoyed some beers from the Pool Bar and cocktails one evening in the comfortable lounge. Short walk to nearby beaches and restaurants. Thank you Hotel Lorenzo for a lovely stay.
