I had a great experience staying in Rita’s for a week. The staff were all lovely and the pool was very enjoyable to cool off and lounge by. It was very useful that there were bottles of water available at reception and saved a lot of hassle. Rita herself was really helpful and accommodating with lifts to and from the port and even a last minute trip to return our passports at the port when we had forgotten them in the safe. Amazing stay overall and would thoroughly recommend it!

Rita’s place, Ios: Fantastic!

Rita is a lovely host and was very helpful. The pool is great. The rooms are very affordable and big. Short walk to the beach and to town. The view from my room was of the ocean and a small balcony to look over. Wifi was in the room and common areas. Thanks Rita :)

Amazing hosts and great stay

We had room  No.16 which was quiet and had a lovely view.  Although we were up on a hill we had the option of a walk one way down to the port/beach  (Yialos), or along the road to the village/chora. Great choice of eating places in the chora (easy 10min walk).
The pool at Rita's is lovely and sheltered from any wind.  Rita was very helpful and even collected us from the ferry - perfect hostess.

LOVELY SETTING

We got picked up at the free port, which we’d arranged via the booking site email etc. Great bonus as it was up hill and HOT!
The rooms are attached to a hotel, we had a room not in the hotel but with others which spread down the hill. The room was clean, a good size with a lovely private big terrace with patio table and chairs. The walk to the pool and hotel was up steps so if you can’t do steps maybe look elsewhere. The pool areas and pool was clean, not crowded (we went easy season so high season it’d no doubt be busy) The beach was a walk down the road or a pathway down from the hotel, ideal as the beach is one of my favourites. Lovely bay for swimming, bit windy but safe. 
Family run, as most in Greece seem to be lovely apartment so recommended. Just a bit of noise from another room, teenage boys, but not a problem for us. Wifi hit and miss mostly miss in the room but did work fine up near the pool area. Only ate snacks there so can’t comment much on the food, we ate in nice family taverna in the port, they put football on TV for us. From hotel can walk up into old town and looked at the sight which I’d recommend. 
Lift back to the port, result!

Pick up from ferry, private terrace, just hit and miss wifi

During our trip to Greece we stayed at a total of 5 hotels, Ritas rooms was the worst. The room was dirty and barely cleaned, extremely small shower with old soaps and hair from previous guests.The employees could not speak any English at all and did not give any impression of service at all.  Otherwise the room had a fantastic terrace with a nice view and a very nice pool area. You could also order good lunch at a good price.
