we've stayed here twice and like this resort a lot. The hotel is quality, by Crete standards) and the staff are nice. It's a relatively large perched on a hill, so a little walking involved, although they do have a golf-cart shuttle around the hotel. the resort is small, but does have some excellent restaurants. We always travel room-only or at most B&B, as we like to try the local food. Even if you are full board, you must try the local restaurants as they are very good indeed.
Anyway, as I've stated, we've stayed here twice and would again. Highly recommended,

Exclusive hotel within walking distance to resort centre

perfect hospitality, in one of the best places in Creta...great service ,extremely friently for the kids and family..the food was perfect and the hole area is awesome..I strongly suggest it and even for the spring period .

a paradise in Creta

I world like to make some comments about my family’s experience during my visit at hotel Out of the Blue Capsis Elite Resort in Agia Pelagia , Crete .
The welcome from the hotel was excellent , the staff was extremely kind and polite and very helpful.
The atmosphere inside the hotel fantastic !!! 
During our stay we visited all restaurants of the resort , the quality of the food excellent in all the restaurants we went !!!  The personnel always with a smile even though the restaurants were full.
Most of the time we were going to  Cladissos beach !! With the renovated restaurant and the organized beach we didn’t want to move.
The sports amazing , water ski, jet ski and water park 
We didn’t miss the special nights at the pool .every day always something different.
The service , room service , transportation inside the hotel excellent!!! 
We had really a good time and we are planning to visit it again 

Summer Vacations

We stayed in the hotel last August with a couple of friends and their 2 kids ages 5 and 7. The whole place is like you are in a separate island in paradise.! The sea is amazing, the food was excellent with a lot of options to choose from. And the kids had a great time with many activites and very big play area! The hotel is ideally located in a very beautiful part of the island and we could also arrange activites in and out of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and catered to most of our needs..

Amazing place for families and friends!

The Out of the Blue Capsis Resort was by far my favourite resort to go!  I've been all around the world, stayed at some of the best hotels and taken many cruises but nothing compares to the Capsis Resort!

I went with my niece in late July for a two week holiday last year and I couldn't believe how amazing everything was.  The resort is on it's own peninsula making it serene and peaceful place to be.  The staff was very welcoming and the service was excellent.

We stayed in a luxurious 2 bedroom suite with our own private outdoor Jacuzzi that I would enjoy every night with a glass of local Cretan wine.

Every morning we'd go for breakfast at the Precieux and anything you could imagine was available even gluten free for my niece who is careful about what she eats.  What I enjoyed most was spending time on the beach which was quiet and serene with warm calm waters.  When we got hungry we would have lunch at the Seasalt and Rosemary which was just a minute away from the sea and we would have fresh traditional Greek and Cretan dishes.  Afterwords we would relax at the spa and later on enjoy dinner at any one of the restaurants.  They were all wonderful with excellent service.

To conclude the suite was magnificent, the service was terrific, always making us feel at home.  The beaches and pools were warm and clean and we enjoyed every minute of it and I'm looking forward to going back again this July with my grandchildren.

Perfection!  My favourite Resort!

I left Athens for a quick weekend getaway with my wife and we wanted  a nice secluded quiet location,... Capsis offered excellent service..weenjoyed the wellness facilities and had a wonderful time ! All in all it was well worth it ! We willl be visiting again!

Fantastic place- Fantastic time 

This is a wonderful resort right by the sea. It had everything we might have needed in a huge area with lots of gorgeous and well maintained green spaces. There are many pools available although we preferred going to the beach. The food was always great, special mention for the salt and rosemary restaurant. Staff was amazing and always available. We had loads fun at the escape rooms, it was crazy trying to find clues to solve the riddles!

A lovely family holiday

This is a beautiful, clean and huge complex where you can enjoy different pools and restaurants (the buffet breakfast is awesome). A beach and a private beach are also nearby. The spa is quite small but lovely. The staff was kind and mindful. Would definitely go back there for 2 whole weeks !

Marvellous location

It's hard for me not to give a positive review on this hotel because of the great service and the welcoming staff in it. But to be honest, this isn't what one might have in mind when thinking about a 5 star resort for a few reasons:
a) The food is reasonable but there is no diversity. We got pretty much the same dishes in our 4 days stay. I must point out though that the pizza in the dinning room were very delicious.
b) The pools are small and shallow. They are mostly suitable for children, and not for an adult to swim in. Also, they weren't very clean. 
c) Might be trivial but the t.v. in our room was very small, more like a computer screen.
 than a t.v.  
d) It's not really an all inclusive hotel in the sense that only few of the drinks in the bar are for free, and the snacks are of basic quality.

The rooms are comfortable and pleasant (we had the superior room near the private beach) and the Italian restaurant was excellent but other than that it's hard for me the recommend this hotel.
