Very expensive for the area. They have a lot of fancy champagne, so it seems like they want to be a fancy restaurant. However, the quality of food is not on par with the self perception nor quality of food.

Recommendable? It’s the only restaurant on the piste on this side of the Winterberg ski area.

Very expensive, but the view is good 

Charge for parking, charge for toilets, no brand cola at extortionate price - the views are stunning but that’s where it ends unfortunately. The only highlight was the complimentary jaeger served by the bar man who joins you for one - as he does this with all guests he is quite a cheerful chap

Tourist trap

You have to pay 1 euro in the restaurant for the toilet. On top of the already expensieve prices. Staff is very unfriendly. Do not go here! Staff allergic for guests and only shout at you. You are not welcome here.

Unwelcome

On holiday two weeks ago I agreed to meet my wife at the café in the Bobhaus. I walked to the outside café from the chairlift and saw my wife being spoken to by a man. The views from the outdoor café are stunning and so I can imagine people may be tempted to go there without ordering anything. Quite reasonably the establishment may want to challenge people who are not customers. As my wife had walked through the hotel a man from the hotel asked her what she wanted and she explained (in English) she was meeting me in the café. He then accused her of trying to use the hotel without paying for the privilege and told her she should show more respect.  We had been a couple of days previously and bought coffees and fully intended to do so again so the assumption that we were trying to make use of the café without paying was a bit unfair. Maybe he was having a bad day ?.
