We check our dates via the tourism website, and Pension Nackhörn was the only response, so we happily booked our stay. In the email correspondence leading up to our stay we pointed our that we were three adults, and our hosts were very kind in offering us an apartment style set up with two bedrooms. As very common in Germany there were no kitchen or hot water facilities, but we on our request we found a hot thermos on our returns from our day trips, a very welcome treat.
The mornings started with a lush German breakfast, all sorts of muesli ingredients, fresh and dried fruit, as well as yoghurt and bircher, not to forget the many jams and cheeses, cold meats, even fish, and of course boiled eggs. Fresh coffee and rolls, of course.
Only on he last day we found that there is some art connection between the hosts and local artist, we did not have the time to explore more of that, but it gives a nice touch to the place.
Beds a nice and comfortable. The bath room could probably do with another soap dispenser by the shower. 
For dinner, Nackhörn is close to a fish & chip family restaurant (recommended; yet not so close to get any smells) and a stuck-up, over priced hotel restaurant (not recommended). Bus service is close, regular and free with your guest card, and I would always recommend hiring bikes for everyone for the entire length of your stay (Rad am Deich, also just across the road). Cycling here is a very relaxed way to explore the area and exercise at the same time.
Ording is the northern most part of Bad St. Peter-Ording, and maybe the least developed. It is still close enough to Bad and Dorf, yet is nice and quiet. I would definitely stay with Nackhörn in Ording again.

Anytime again

Well, the place is priced lower than most other similar places we looked at. There is a saying you get what you pay for.
You are here for one thing only to make the people money, no service what so ever. I travel all over the world this is by far the lowest ranking of any kind of service I have received in a long time,there is none!
Here's what you get a clean room with attached bathroom, candy on the pillow, breakfast, free parking and  that's it.
Towels are at least a decade old, close to sand paper comes to mind,  Bath room has no vent. We arrived and there was about 10 sheets of toilet paper left, use sparingly no second roll to be found. Do yourself a favor choose different and pay a couple of euros more. Google showed this a being permanently closed, not sure why. If you can live with minimal service, crisp towels then it's not a bad deal. If you expect more don't stay here.
