The first thing I come across upon arrival to the hostel is a rude staff telling me through the phone that I will have to wait 5 hours to do my check-in because there was no staff in the hostel at that moment. I did my booking through the portal booking.com and there it asked me about my arriving time and there was no info on the check-in time. According to the staff, all I am saying is wrong.
Ever since then, all communication I have had with the staff is them telling me I am wrong like if I was a five year old.
The location of the hostel is nice, very close to the city centre and also to Karli, the partying and bars zone of Leipzig. They have a kitchen equiped to cook and utilities are clean, quite possibly because so far I have seem to be pretty much the only guest that is at the hostel, normally there is no people and no staff to even ask questions. Only nice detail that the staff had is giving earplugs daily to cancel possible noises. 
Even though I have enjoyed my stay here so far, as the hostel is empty and I have independence to roam around, I would not recommend to stay in this hostel for how rude and unwelcoming the staff has been. They totally deserve to have an empty hostel.

I booked a private room through Booking.com and it clearly stated that there is a fee for guests arriving outside check in hours. When I messaged them to inform them of my time of arrival I was told this was not possible, so I decided to cancel my booking.... Customer care at it's best, I still had to pay for the 2 nights booked, in spite informing them in advance and this being the result of them not adhering to the terms and conditions. My advice is: STAY AWAY!

Money stealers

I booked the hostel and paid for it in advance. When I came to the hostel 5 minutes after 8 pm (FIVE MINUTES... FIVE!!!), there was no one waiting for me there. They didn't call me, they didn't pick up the phone when I called them either. They refused to give me my money back and their emails were rude (suggesting there are "errors" with me isn't the best way of treating customers, is it?). And they lied to me that they waited for me for 15 minutes - even if, wouldn't it be even worse if they really had been there and hadn't opened me the door on purpose? Totally not recommended, the stuff certainly doesn't know how to run a hostel. Very bad experience.

Terrible attitude towards guests

I booked a room for 2 Brazilian friends who came to Leipzig to do a dance audition, without immediately realizing that the check in was between 5-8 hours pm. My friends arriving around 9pm ,got in touch with booking.com to see if a late arrival was possible.Booking contacted the hotel and emailed me to confirm that this was possible.  The hotel send me a mail and ask me for the name of my friends but I didn't see this email ( but when I booked with eBooking,I had given the name ) When my friends arrived (before 9pm) the hotel was closed ... I telephoned and the receptionist told me she could do anything and that it was too late  , not having received the names enough early  ... ( the names were given during the reservation). 
I don't know how is this hotel but I wanted to report this lack of collaboration....
Leave at the street at 9 pm two young people who don't speak German could have serious effects
