Easy booking, fast and professional checkin, clean and tidy room with no surprises. The breakfast was according to expectations. If you look for easy and good value accomodation it is hard to beat Ibis Budget Hannover Messe. I will definately consider to book again at the hotel if the need arises.

No nonse offer

We got this room, although the payment hadn't gone through for unknown reasons.
We payed to a kind receptionist and entered a clean room, where everything was in order. Totally clean bathroom. 
But there was a distinct smell of tobacco smoke and even worse: the pillow and bed linen had this ugly smell of tar and old tobacco smoke. There was even an ashtray in the room! This is not good and I would say unacceptable. When someone has smoked in the room (forbidden!) everything on the beds should be changed, maybe even the mattresses.

Nice, clean but.....

Clean and very neat hotel. If you just need a place to stay it is a good choice. The only draw back is that the public transport in this area is limited. The best would be if you have a rental car when staying here.

Good lower cost accommodation

The room and facilities were as expected. Small, clean rooms with its own bathroom and toilets. The big disappointment though was the lack of air conditioning, despite stating that the room was „klimatisiert“. With day temperatures way over 30 degrees, it was impossible to sleep in the heat. Leaving the window open was also difficult because of the street noise. 

Good value for money but no AC

Situated in an industrial area, good for business travelers. Reception is open for a limited time, no bar but vending machines there to buy drinks ect from. Buffet breakfast is very basic but ok. Mcdonalds is around the corner and there is a tram stop about 10 minutes walk away. Not that easy to find but if you walk over to Mcdonalds up a set of steps and cross the road there is a tram stop across the road that will take you to the exhibition centre and town centre. I would not recommend this hotel  to families but but for business people or travelers on a budget it is fine.

Clean  very basic hotel

This is a place to stay with little character or professional interaction with staff, when they are available.  Very basic and more hostel format.  Not that close to the Messe, so I don't know why they give it the label of Messe.  Misleading.  

Ibis - Messe Hannover -

Hotel is in nowhere. Standard was ok for budget. The most important thing- customer service was awful. I wonder how this hotel works with this kind of service. I do not recommend it to anyone. There is Mc Donald few minutes away but they do not accept Visa cards.
