Perfect for a stop in our route. Easy to find, staff receptive and agile. We didn't want to waste time entering main cities to stop only to sleep, as we needed to head on early net morning. So this hotel had everything we needed.

Easy to find if you don't want to waste time while travelling

Stopped here on a motorcycle tour, booked last minute. Room was clean enough, bathroom has seen better days. Staff were lovely, breakfast was ok. There's a great little restaurant next door though, so that was a nice find! 
I'd stay again but only because it's cheap. I wouldn't want to stay more than one night on my way to somewhere.

Fine for a night

We were unable to honour our original booking due to a Brexit related problem with our dogs at the Channel Tunnel in the UK. I emailed the hotel and received a reply the following  day saying that our stay would be honoured for the following  night which we were able to accept and subsequently arrived and stayed. No additional  charge was requested, only the extra for our dogs to be in the room with us. Well done Ibis Budget Dax

Change to our original  booking

We arrived after a long drive at 22h00. When we entered our room the dirty towels where still in the bathroom and the garbage was in a bag on the toilet. The most disgusting however was the bed that looked as it was made, but when we removed the top sheet there was a dirty handkerchief of a previous visitor. Nobody at reception finally found a tel.nr. to get another room.  This in Covid times is totaly unacceptable !!

Air conditioning didn’t work and room was boiling and couldn’t sleep, after driving 11 hours not the best place to rest and refuel for the next 7 hour journey.The gentleman at the reception was nice but once we got into the room and settled in he had already finished and there was no one there to advise about the air conditioning

Great location and check in was very good. Basic room but clean and comfortable.

This was the third year we stopped in this hotel on our way back from Spain and despite signs every where in the hotel regarding COVID extra hygiene measures, the room was absolutely disgusting.
- We have had to clean the room with antibac wipes as there were fatty fingerprints everywhere
- We could find hair all around the bathtub and on the shower wall but also... in our daughter's bed!!! (see pictures)
- My pillow had a very strong smell of sweat and it has been impossible to sleep with it
- When we arrived, the customer doing the check-in at the reception was not wearing his face mask and the receptionist never asked him to wear it, when it is a legal obligation to wear it in all closed place welcoming public.

An absolute shame! Never again.

Disgusting - No hygiene at all... in COVID times!

Stayed here on our way to Spain and it is a nice hotel although the rooms are  a little dated.  Still good value for money.  Friendly, helpful staff.  Good breakfast.  Restaurants & takeaway within walking distance

Nice budget hotel

Friendly check-in and clean rooms. Plenty of places to eat in the evening nearby :)

I was surprised at the notice on the bed warning not to throw rubbish out of the window and the fact that there was no rubbish bins in the room. Although there was a very small one in the bathroom. I was also disappointed that the shower head was loose and I had to pick the shower up to spray in the right direction which was a bit awkward at times due to my current injuries.
