beautiful place, great location, terrific hosts. can't say enough good things about the place and the owners. this place was a highlight of our road trip through France.
they were so accommodating for 2 kiwis driving in France for the first time, waiting up for us as we finally made it to the place at 10pm - thank you Chris

absolutely amazing!

The beautiful and peaceful Loire valley is a destination you really need to go to. The best way to enjoy this great area is to stay at one place and I would strongly suggest to stay at Vallee des Vignes. This B&B offers 4 rooms and also 2 studios and has a great atmosphere. There is a nice garden, a terrace with a lot of shade and a swimming pool (which is very clean and just large enough to give you some necessary freshness after or during a hot day). The hosts, NIkki and Chris, make you feel at home as of the first minute of arrival. They speak French and English and do the utmost to learn your local language as well. 

We have stayed in one of the studios. The studio offered everything we needed, had a good bed, clean kitchen and bathroom and a comfortable couch and small dining table. We have taken out our meals, to enjoy them on the large terrace, which looks out over the garden and is a very nice place to have breakfast and dinner.

There are enough parking places and our car was even washed by Chris after the combination of rain and dustsand, which we very much appreciated.

Chris and Nikki can tell you all about the nice places to visit in the area, but also a bit further away. We have stayed 7 nights in Vallee des Vignes and visited many castles and vineyards. The area is really nice to drive through, you are in the middle of silence and tranquility and also of vineyards and large cornfields. For cycling, this area is also very nice, with some small hills, but mainly a beautiful scenery.

Chris is a great chef, he provides you (for B&B guests included and for studio guests upon request) with a very nice breakfast, but you can also order (on the day you would like it, before 10.30h) small bites, great wine and even a dinner.

If you are staying at Vallee des Vignes and are from The Netherlands, please bring a pack of 'stroopwafels' for Nikki and Chris, they really appreciate this :)

Visiting Loire Valley? This is where you should stay!

We stayed in the Studio & it was great, exactly as described on their site. Our hosts Nikki & Chris were very helpful. The location is in a quiet village with a small well stocked little shop. We very much enjoyed our stay & would not hesitate to return one day. It's a perfect base to explore the area.

Lovely quiet location and very helpful hosts. Pool great for relaxing in and a delicious breakfast every morning. Ideally located for ease of access to the local chateaux and plenty of good restaurants within easy reach.  Comfortable room and beautifully clean.  A great holiday.

Holiday to Loire Valley

Just what you would hope for in a B&B.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food delicious (we had dinner there one night) and the hosts, Nikki and Chris, gracious, cordial, available and very helpful.
All in all, we had a lovely three night stay at this very attractive and conveniently located house and charming garden in the chateaux region. Thank you so very much.
