We chose this hotel as it is extremely close to the Bordeaux / Merignac airport, and it is inexpensive. However, we very much enjoyed staying here. The owner has developed a quirky and amusing decor, so it is not at all a cookie-cutter, identikit hotel experience. Added to that, he was very helpful, giving us directions to the seaside, advice about traffic, and the location of the nearest gas station. Added to that, he lent us a corkscrew and plates, and was chilled out and relaxed. Our room, though basic, was clean and very quiet. We found it charming, though not at all in a conventional way. An amusing finale for our trip.
