Eliane & Michel - Merci for a most enjoyable stay!  Special thanks for setting up a table service for us in your beautiful huge yard/garden - we very much enjoyed our picnic 🧺 and bottle of good wine!  For those who are reading this and want a clean, quiet and comfortable room then look no further - this is it and Eliane & Michel were the most wonderful hosts that we have met in our many travels.  Good coffee for breakfast along with orange juice, very fresh bread, pastries and homemade honey & jams set us up for the day.  Secure parking, large quiet bedroom and bathroom (Monet room) and short drive to Monets Gardens in morning were all bonuses along with a very economical rate. Again, thank you Eliane and Michel - you made our stay special! You have a most amazing property and we were happy to be able to stay for several nights!

Amazing B&B with superb hosts!

We have never stayed at 10.0 rated on Booking.Com but this proved 100% justified.

Fabulous situation, quiet beautiful garden and most charming hosts. !0 miles from Giverny and half the price!

A Deer welcomed us on arrival and just sitting in the very large garden, drinking a glass of wine in the sun is magical. Good restaurants around.

The best B&B in the world with your own lounge!

We loved the Aulnaie Gardens. It was the highlight of our trip to France this past May. With only a few rooms, it felt as though we were houseguests of the charming couple that runs the place -- while at the same time feeling that we had privacy and freedom to come and go.  The design of the house and the guest rooms is an elegant mixture of antique and modern, and features gorgeous original paintings done by one of the owners. I kept looking around and taking notes in my head of how they had everything set up - it was so beautiful.  Our room had two twin beds with duvets, which were very comfortable, and a private bath which was modern and spotlessly clean. Our window overlooked the courtyard garden, and we spent our late afternoons drinking tea and enjoying the view from the window. The grounds and gardens were lovely, and we enjoyed walking there every day.  The breakfast was delicious - fresh croissants, bread, homemade yogurt and honey from their own bees. I would recommend this B&B to singles and couples who like a quiet, relaxed, and upscale environment.

Perfect in every way

We spent 6 nights at L'Aulnaie celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect.  The house is delightful with beautiful furniture and fittings and there is a lounge area for guests which is great if you're travelling with friends or relatives.    The room was really clean and peaceful with very comfortable beds and elegant furniture.  The gardens are idylllic to wander around and there are lots of different places you can sit and relax.  Eliane and MIchel are perfect hosts, welcoming and  very happy to help with booking restaurants and other enquiries but not at all intrusive. If you're a cat lover you are in for a treat as they have a couple of adorable felines.  I would definitely stay here again particularly for a special occasion.

We stayed here last year 2015 in Spring and it was delightful, Eliane and Michel were lovely hosts and their house and garden is charming.
I loved Elianes home made yogurt!
It is a lovely part of Normandy and very close to Giverny.
