Hôtel Toppin

I liked the couple that run this hotel at night. They were very helpful despite the fact I speak no French. Entry into the parking garage could be an issue and the gate has to be opened by the gentleman.They close at 8PM, so don't be late and there is a code to get in the front door to walk around town. There was a great pizza place out the hotel to the left and left and that's where an Irish bar is and I ate my pizza on their outside tables and both proprietors were happy to have me (provided I bought something which is typical worldwide). It's a relatively small city and not many English speaking people would go there and that made it very quaint. I That made it even better. A friend of mine from France told me it was a big Melon growing area in the south central part of France. I would definitely go again. Rooms were fine and very adequate for an overnight stay.
