We spent 5 days at the enchanting Absoluut Valvert, and it was a truly magical experience. The property is filled with charming details and offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere. As our first visit to the Luberon, we found its location perfect for exploring the region's key cities and villages. The facilities and rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Cathy, the owner, was an exceptional host, ensuring that everything was perfect for our vacation. We look forward to returning to enjoy even more of what Absoluut Valvert has to offer. Highly recommended!

Magic place in the Luberon!

Practically perfect in every way! We aren't good sleepers when we travel and every night we slept so well and woke to a beautiful breakfast. Perfect base for visiting the region. We also loved arriving back in the afternoon for a refreshing dip in the pool and some relaxing before leaving for dinner.

Beautiful and thoughtful details, perfect location and comfortable and immaculate rooms.

We stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful place. 

A very nice welcome with a drink by the owners, we had a charming and tastefully decorated room close to the very nice pool. Breakfast was outstanding, amazing choice of quality products, one of the best we had in France. This place has it all for us, a great setting, wonderful hosts, good atmopshere, this is the provence at it’s best ! Cathy recommended us some nice resto’s, don’t hesitate to follow her advice..

Bonnieux is also worth a visit as are many of the villages around, we can only recommend maison valvert and for us this will be a ‘must stay’ place when around again. One of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed at !!

Hospitality at it’s best !

Stayed in a fabulous tree house - yes really - at this friendly and unbelievably beautiful location in the Luberon. Perfection. Morning coffee was generously provided via rope and pulley system in the mornings to our treehouse deck. Breakfasts were delicious. Our host was friendly and welcoming, very informative about the region. Can't wait to go back.

Up in the trees!

Owner is very professional and the checkin was done as 5* standard. Place is beautiful in a great sorroundings and it is arranged with wonderful taste of style and toilet product was great too, we stayed in their tree house and morning coffee would be at door ready in style. Only thing was bit uncomfortable is being spoken in Flemish at breakfast table made us feel less welcomed but its not a crime. If we would return to provence we will be back again. Thanks Catherine 

Perfect

Maison Valvert has been our favourite holiday destination for several years now and I found the time had come to reflect on those experiences and update my previous review.

As with great French wine the place,the hosts and the overall experience have with the years taken on that distinct maturity and class that makes prime rate products and services stand out from the rest.

Hosts Cathy and Pierre as always take great care in making every single guest feel very welcome and ensuring that Maison Valvert remains that haven of peace and quiet that most of us are all looking for when taking a break.

Both "B's" in B&B are of the highest standard at Maison Valvert. The 4 luxury bedrooms and a stunning tree house have all the comfort one would want, whereas the "Breakfast" is simply one of the best around with plenty of local delicacies and daily variations to keep one from having to look for lunch most of the time.

The addition of airconditioning, the upgrading of the swimming pool area with loungy furniture and the addition of 3 high end "gites", complete with private terraces and kitchenettes, will ensure that every type of even the most demanding vacationer will find it a place to their liking which they will surely want to return to.

Over the years, the place has grown also more and more international so don't be surprised to be sharing the breakfast patio with Italians, Germans, Brazilians, South Africans or even the odd Briton who come to the region for wine tasting, walking, site seeing or simply enjoying the mediterranean climate with the best possible amenities without having to go to one of the overpriced and choked-with-spoilt-children resorts in the region.

Maison Valvert Revisited

From the moment we arrived, Cathy was a welcoming host. We stayed in the tree house for 2 nights and cannot recommend it highly enough; a super romantic treat!! The coffee being delivered each morning (via a pulley system!) topped it off. The breakfast was superb-catered for all tastes from croissants to cheeses and meats (and everything in between). We had planned to explore the surrounding region during our stay but given the peaceful surroundings, we decided to make the most of it and relax by the pool. Would love to stay again.
